kind of weird that a relatively new guy on an established brand would feel comfortable putting out there that he doesnt like some of his teammates. i dont have rose colored glasses about the situation (i get that its difficult to get along with everyone) but its just better to keep that stuff to yourself. i guess austyn is still pretty young and is making rash decisions.

I had a feeling after reading austyns comment that people would take that and run with it. To consider that they're on the same team, and that he does not seem too worried about letting that comment get published.

HAHA austyn calling out silas for being a hater, and then being exposed as a hater in the next few questions. I love it.

I thought he was being sarcastic before I read Getz interview. The last thing an Am should be talking about is how he do not get along with the pros.

^ I see your perspective
but lets hypothetically say that he does get kicked off of habitat. I think the more thorough skate companies would definitely second guess putting him on if he has no problem throwing his teamates under the bus.
I can see the interviews now....
So how is life now that you are on Chocolate, Austyn?
Yeah its great, I saw Anthony Pappalardo suck a dick for some meth. It was crazy, the dude is pure east coast though.

i just find it hard to believe that silas is actually bitter about anything. he has a shoe out for adidas he was SOTY everyone loves his skating and he had last part in the new habitat video. so between all of that please tell me what silas needs to slit his wrists over.

I think what he meant to say was "he has a problem with me, I don't have a problem with him"
Also, anybody else notice that ESPN editted shellfish -> selfish?
Its kind of funny when you think about it. I'd rather ride for a company called shellfish, and would assume they were mocking me if they called it selfish.

All this love for Kyle Nicholson is mind blowing! And I'm from and live on the east coast. I'm here to tell you that the guy has never impressed me and always come off like a reject, so its not surprising to me he rides for Axion and Selfish. I'm actually surprised he has more than a shop sponsor.
Kyle might enjoy living the scumlife, but he's good as shit. Seen him skate in person in the last year? His axion part wasn't even half bad

While I thoroughly enjoy reading about this type of gossip, I don't really think it's young and aspiring amateur skater's place to throw these things out there like that. I'm sure this goes on in other teams as well, behind the scenes, but to a certain aspect you should treat it like a job and this is certainly not the kind of "team dynamics" any employer wants to read about.
Austyn is not doing a very good job here. But he had the best part in the video and maybe he's a bit too aware of that.

Habitat use to be the illest,
now they remind me of toy machine.
They had the best team, originality and concept.
Still trying to live that dream with some of these new dudes that don't fit and lack any originality.
Have you seen Origin? I'd say there is very little cookie cutter action from any of the new guys. So to say they lack "any" originality is short sighted at best. You want to say that Tim O'Connor hasn't done 5 tricks in the last 5 years, I don't know, maybe he hasn't.
