Has anyone tried these bones wheels with the 'og formula'? Are they any good?

There both awesome companies, but I prefer Indy's.

They're really decent, but if you are expecting anything like SPFs or STFs, you will be disappointed. These are just normal wheels, no weird terrain formula to make them more slippery or whatnot, just normal wheels.

I don't have any lube or whatever laying around the house.

But if I wanna do some minor cleaning with household items, how do you clean bearings?
My friend has some super old bearing that he washed with water and they surprisingly skate great

If you happen to have gasoline, soak your bearings in it. Works like a charm, for me. But who knows.

i used to clean my bearings with diesel , but  that shit smells a lot and
people always thought i was going to get high or make molotov cocktails
nowadays i use johnson s baby oil, it cleans so much better , it s like having new bearings

Using water to clean em will not damage the bearing as long as you don't let the water sit in the  bearings and you dry them right away afterwards.

Anyone tried the krux mahollows? I had a pair of what I think were downlows a couple of years ago, they grinned really nice, but the axels bent pretty quickly. If I'm correct Krux is under NHS with Indy but they're made in china, which probably has something todo with the shitty quality, at least with my pair. Anyone know if these mahollows are worth checking out, or are they still weak? I was also looking at ace's which look pretty nice, if anyone could describe the grinding, kingpin clearance, durability, etc. that'd be sick. I know aces turn really fast (which I loved in my thunders).

What are Lurkville boards like? I usually ride Toy or Roger, so something kind of flat with a decent size nose.

Had a pair of csx's, it was great until I got the bushing problems, and for some reason the mounting holes got REALLY mishappen so every sesh I would have to re-adjust and re-tighten them, but that was only my trucks, my friends tiax only had bushing problems. I've heard they've fixed the bushing problem for the lows, so once they fix it with the mids I'm all for it. Still curious about ace though, they come off as a truck more for vert when you look at the riders, I'd interested to know how well they skate street/park shit.

I've had ace and theeves and liked both. But prefer aces because i like the way they turn. They're really good trucks, stable and solid on grinding, but their response does take a little acclimation

I have ACE 33's, I keep them on my cruiser because they are perma-loose, very surfy quick turn but not stable enough for my old man skills. So far the only solution I've found for the bushing problem is changing out the pivot cups (khiro hard small), putting a bottom washer underneath bones hard bushing on bottom. Annoying but perfect after.

Sounds dope, I got a pair of indys from a buddy that I'm skating right now and I'm really loving them. Would you say Ace "out-skates" indy?

If I get a chance to snag some new bushings I could give that a try, problem is my theeves get super wobbly from the messed up mounting spots. I might just wait until the v3 design comes out to the mids, that way I don't have to mess around. Thanks for the info.

I just emailed Josh Stewart about this a week ago. He said Palace will be in stock at Theories in Mid-September. Other than that and Brick Harbor, you can go to Seasons or have your shit shipped in from Europe.

A word of advice, check every day until they are up. Palace goods will sell out entirely on Theories within 5 days of when they are up. At least thats what happened last time.

Magenta deck concave?
for reference, more or less than Real decks?

I feel like all I've been skating lately are flatter decks.

I'm skating a Magenta now, It's the same as an Antihero logo board as far as I can tell. I haven't skated a Real in years, so I couldn't tell you how they are in comparison to those. Don't know how many different shapes DLX uses.

i got a krooked price point deck that was apparently an 8.5, but when i got home i measured it and its only an 8. It had the "8.50" sticker on the bottom thats on all of the deluxe boards, so i thought it would be correct. i'm going to be in san francisco on tuesday, would i be able to exchange it at the dlx distribution place?

Their stickers are sometimes a bit off. My 31.3" long deck is longer than my 31.5, 31.63, and 32.25 roger. Time to start busting out my measuring tape again.
