He did just call me 2 days ago.. he's actually been in Jail(prison is for folks sentenced to more than a year. Lennie hasn't been sentenced yet) . Just got transfered back to SF. He hadn't had his court appearance yet.. and was on his 3rd year waiting trial.

I just started re-editing his timecode part, and I was thinking of doing it to david bowie's sound and vision.  Reynold's part wasn't to the actual david bowie song, so i thought it was still a decent choice.  Anybody have ideas of what he should skate to besides that god crap?

He was out for a bit... but allegedly broke his parol. He's been back in for 3 years waiting for his trial.

Yeah... he's a tough ass kid with A LOT of heart. He sounds good... but i really don't know what his charges are... and when his court date is.
I just shoot the shit with him and catch him up on some skate shit... his calls are usually pretty short based on time restraints.

I totally understand.  I am not interested in his charges, just that he is doing well.  Dude was a character and a legend in the truest sense.  Skateboarding doesn't make Lennie Kirks anymore.  That's cool that you keep him up to date on the skate stuff.  I know it was a personal phone call, but it would be really cool to hear his reactions on current skating and what has been going down.

I talk to Lennie pretty frequently. Usually once a month.. sometimes a little more spread out.
I also used to live with him... and road trip with him... and yes... there would be a high rating reality show with him being a star. No doubt.

Fuck yeah dude, ESCAPE HELL! Why in the fucking world would you re-edit one of the best sections of all time? I hate religion and especially christianity with a passion, but that section, preaching, music, and everything is absoloutely perfect. It's like Harmony Korine edited it.

The religious imagery and skating just goes too well with the song.  While it is fun to reedit to other songs, this one cannot be improved upon.  It's perfect.
