I don't think i've ever seen mike mo skate a demo. And if you're not used to something what's the point of skating it. no one said anything when those other dudes didn't get tricks on those stairs. and i'd be willing to bet money no one got a good ledge line at 3rd and army and no one is going to say anything about that.

I've skated that shit, and the shit he was doing was gnar as fuck. pretty much getting anything filmworthy is damn near impossible there. I'd be willing to bet money you grew up with a skatepark. I don't think you guys realize skateparks everywhere are fairly new. There are a shitload of kids that started skating before the last 5 years who probably never skated/ are just getting into within the last 2 years. and honestly it doesn't matter to a lot of kids. if you asked a kid who's skills would you rather have mike mo's or tony t's,  i'd bet money that the overwhelming majority would choose mike mo.

Ledges can be fun, but also the most boring thing ever.  Skating some fun transition, or skating hills for a day is WAY better then any noseslide trick you can do.

-- if you watch, i move over a little while he's coming down that last stretch as i was hoping he might still try to make the turn and i wanted to catch him if he was gonna hit the car. i had no idea what was going to happen at that point. it didn't end well in terms of his scalp, but it ended very well in terms of john being extremely gnarly.

-- sorry to make an old guy reference, but have you ever seen the first plan b video? there's a miniramp section in the middle of it that was the peak of technical tranny skating at the time, maybe you can appreciate that. i don't think any of those guys could have been over 21 at that point, probably more like 18.

i really don't understand why are people ripping forest to shit for not skating the tranny.  the first episode at the gap not everyone skated it...like Mango.   no one said "oh wow what a bitch he didn't skate the gap".  no one cared.   i don't see how this should be any different.   such a double standard around here.   it's okay to hate but you need to apply all hate evenly and fairly.
