It definitely shows you guys don't understand anything, if you think me and forrest or similar at all.
In this thread you have claimed you don't brag, you don't talk shit, and that you and Forrest have no similarities. You are the least self aware human being ever. Your like on the level with John Nash with your view of reality.
I like how there are all different types of skaters in the finals. Here's my breakdown:
Forrest- Jock asshole
Mango- wacky, creative skater, tiltmode type dude
John- fucking hesher (not in the metal sense, in skating it has come to have its own meaning)
East bay guy (I forgot his name too somehow) style guy
Reuben- hyper skate rat
Gonzo- So cal rail gap dude, the quiet killer
Nik-
east coast dude
i'm pretty sure Gip posted "who?" next to his name because we've barely seen any footage of him. we're all busy talking about Forrest, but not many of you have acknowledged the fact that Nik is nowhere to be found. did he even have a board during OIAM? did he bring the wrong pair of shoes with him or something?
Isn't the footage we've seen so far only from the first day? If you think about it, most of the spots were kind of jumping spots and if you're not that much of a jumper, what are you gonna do? The same thing with Mango, I suppose. A gap, stair sets and a high bench. I can see a lot of skaters not having too much to give at those spots.
Also, that Nik-dude tore a good sized chunk off his palm at that nasty "over the rail into a bank" spot. That might slow things down a bit, too.

Has this been posted yet? The new episode is really good. It seems like every time a video is posted I end up saying that both John and Matt killed it super hard. Mango's line was really cool, too, and I'm stoked to finally see some footage from Nik, even if it is just one trick.

There is more Bieber coverage on Slap than one would expect from a bunch of manboys arguing the minutiae of rollerboard stunts. Actually now that I type that it kinda makes sense.

The front page article is about to go up with sequences from Reuben and Tommy Sandoval from the brick flat gap. Mark said they "didn't get filmed because we were in the process of getting kicked out and the filmers were packing up"

great as usual but i start getting angry halfway through because i know it will be over in such a short time. good stuff from john and matty's fs shove crook was sick. everything that guy does is sick
and before anyone starts this shit again, let's point out that gonzo and forrest did not skate the first spot of the day, but lets also keep in mind it is one of many and i bet some people who skated the ditch wont skate some of the other spots later.

Seriously. Either someone got broke off or someone laid it down.
Man...not to beat a dead horse but I just love the whole feel of this whole thing and without Forrest, it wouldn't have that reality show feel. Just that whole conversation with the thank yous is such a reality show sound bite. This whole thing makes me feel how when I found out what the Berrics was. At the time, the Berrics were revolutionary for just putting out so much footage of your favorite skaters skating. This OIAM contest is that next new thing that is so different from what is out. I hope this kind of spawns more new ideas at Slap. Forrest reality show! Like showing him trying to get sponsors or but telling them to fuck off cause he's over it before it even starts.

im guessing forrest did switch back heel down that set in the preview, and maybe other tricks?

I really liked Matty's tricks. Hes got a really nice style. Mango was doing pretty good. Whats up with Gonzo? I like him but it seems like he never skates anything. Hope he gets some tricks down that set in the next episode.

the dude is overly polite and gracious, what a dick.
don't forget hes the youngest dude in there so he might feel a need to be respectful to his elders.
people forget that some parents actually raise their kids to have manners.
its kind of sad that forrest didn't have a trick for that spot either.
it seems if it isn't stairs, rails or basic ledges(all off of flat), he ain't got shit on shit.
