What kind of expectations did you guys have for a 3D video to be disappointed by it?

There is more Bieber coverage on Slap than one would expect from a bunch of manboys arguing the minutiae of rollerboard stunts. Actually now that I type that it kinda makes sense.

I never expected Krook3D to have phenomenal 3D effects. I feel like it was that way to reinforce the video being a FUN video.
I haven't seen it yet, but I look forward to it.

Get on that shit buddy. That is one fun fuckin video. I love that it flows around skate spots not dude's parts. The Cruz (shop in SF not SC Skateboards) did the same thing and both of them made me more hyped to go skate than any of the bigger video productions that have come out in a looooong ass time.

spankys part was not disapointing, anyone who claims they had any expectations for him to have a high quality part was lying to themselves.

I was disappointed with Hsu's part as well. From his Man Down part to his Osiris and Enjoi part, Stay Gold has to be the most unentertaining from the bunch. Stick to the 80's music and occasional late flips.
Wasn't he hurt like most of the time? Bum knee and other injuries.
His switch 50-50 @ the 1st street spot (first trick) is good enough for me.
Yeah in his ESPN interview with Nieratko he says his part was all switch because he had knee surgery and didn't feel good skating regs. I like his all switch part, and it definitely would've been way more disappointing to have no Jerry footy at all.

3.Braydon szafranski- stay gold, he didn't try. plain and simple
Braydon deserves more credit. What did you expect from him? I thought his part was good and he did some pretty crazy and unexpected stuff....
-
Front 180 fakie manual, fakie bs flip a picnic table
only saw his part once, but wasn't that a fs halfcab flip out, and not bs?
if it was a regular bs halfcab and not fs, then damn, I didnt give him the appreciation he deserves. switching up your shoulders on a trick like that alone, without flips, must be a fucking nightmare.
no my bad your right its fakie fs flip, im halfway retarded when it comes to labeling tricks
but still, crazy ass trick, either way you look at it

Was also disappointed by Hsu. If I remember correctly there was not ONE line. The part had little to do with why I usually love his skating.
I cannot imagine anything more boring than this kind of "banger after banger" part.

Sometimes you have to accept that disappointment is coming, and embrace it.
Were you really expecting more from Matt Field? He just wants to smoke weed in the woods with his blonde dreadlocked family and wear his Ponys
you're kidding right?
KF over the red bench was proper as fuck.
360 shove across that wierd corner street gap? sick.
tre across the street gap was proper as fuck.
switch BS wallride at the end was fucking tall and proper as fuck.
the nollie over the downhill rail is stoops.
all of the above with the exception of the nollie were landed solid and clean as well.
...and the rest is feelgood SF city vibing. i love matt field though so maybe i'm biased, but that shit still makes me smile.
k
If you've ever seen a Matt Field video part and that part disappointed you, then you don't know the definition of disappointment. He did all the tricks he usually does over things that are just as big as they usually are plus some new things except now he's old and runs a company. That part far exceeded what I thought he could come up with. He's a sketchy hippy, that shit is hard on the body! Where's Mike Daher? Where's Steve Olson? I was disappointed by the song though. First time I saw it at the premiere from outside DLX and couldn't hear the music, pretty surprised once I saw it again... But it's not that bad, just whatever. /

- Frontside flip a 14 stair
- Front 180 fakie manual, fakie bs flip a picnic table
- Nose manny that high skinny curved ledge to drop in
- front blunt man-sized hubba
-
nollie back heel a 12 stair
- fakie manual fakie flip off big ass drop
I'm sorry but your going to have to find some worse skating to label as 'most dissapointing'. You may not like his style, but give that man some credit. I also liked the music and editing, thought it went really well with his part. Yea Braydon!
this was a nollie backside flip i believe... with that said, i like braydons part a lot

Austin Srephens
Spanky but I figured it wouldn't be that amazing
Heath's part was insanely short and then he quit which really sucks
And Leo's parts were both amazing but I must say I was disappointed still. Didn't like either songs, some questionable pushing, bad angles and I just expected them to somehow be better.

uum, that it would be 3D, like people coming out of the screen and shit
Then you would be an idiot for expecting blue and red 3D to actually work well. It never has.
People complaining about Krook3d and Jerry's part. I don't get it, is there an inside joke I haven't caught onto?

i just found all the times he looked into the camera after doing a kickflip kinda annoying
you dont need to see origins, it kinda ruined habitat in my opinion

yeah that wasd a bummer, i think the 3 most hyped videos of the year were Krook3d, habitat, and stay gold.
saw stay gold first and it was a bit too "banger after banger" but was still a really good watch and several peoples parts ive watched many times
Kr00k3d was right down my street, thats how skate videos should be
habitat origin... i was completley bored by it
havnt even watched the whole thing yet because it keeps boring me

If your highly anticipated tranny part doesn't consist of more than your dumb ass dropping and an axle stall you should...

Krooked 3D, after watching it a second time I'm glad I didn't pay for it. It was enjoyable but not worth the cash imo.
Most of Stay Gold, so much hype behind it, yet so disappointing.
