6 Studio albums sticking to their roots without slaughtering their sound. It's sad to see them go, but it's probably a good time to call it quits.  I'm sure there will be a big reunion in a couple of years considering it has already been 4 years since we last heard anything from them.

At least they didn't go all Oasis on each other.  Seriously, a great way to handle a break up.  The White Stripes are one of the only bands who continued to deliver modern day blues to anyone who cared.

Isn't that because they were once married, divorced, then they started telling everyone they were brother and sister?

On a side note: I will miss watching Meg's big ol boobies bounce around while she pounding those drums.

yeah im prettty sure it was something like that, she probably kept his last name for a bit or something and they started saying that haha
