i was in the parking lot of the supermarket so i took out my board, did a crispy tre flip first try and then put it back and went about my business.

YES! thats the sickest man, getting tres somewhat on lock is the greatest accomplishment of my life, fuck school or work, people dont understand, you just walked into that grocery store like a boss!

and that whole progression to warm up, thats what tres were for me, and ya, best feeling ever.

i will have to say like when you just get warmed up, and you do the first kickflip (which for me is way harder to nail than tres), as soon as you pop you know its flipping around leveled and you just stomp it, FUCK theres no drug that beats this shit!

Friendship aspect. Friend of mine was here from out of town over the weekend, and I brought him around to a ton of spots, getting a chance to skate them with somebody I never expected to made it so much more awesome. I know its cheesy, but you can't deny the truth in it, and the truth in it is what's making me hyped right now.

It is cheesy, but I can relate. Skating with my old skating buddy for the first time in ages recently made me more stoked on skating than I have been in months.

Lately, the best feeling has been that first couple of minutes where I get to the spot or the park, and first throw the board down & just roll. It usually takes me about 3 minutes of just rolling and doing ollies before I feel warmed up enough to start doing tricks, but that 3 minutes is just awesome... rolling, pushing, carving and sliding around, getting the crud of the day worked out of your system & just getting into skate mode.

After an hour of biking and skating around in windy -15* weather, I finally found some clear flatground and a bike rack to do a few slappies on.  Desperate times in the Maritimes.

Skated this tall, round flatbar I have bolted in my driveway for the first time in a little while.  I haven't skated it in a while since I've had a new board and I hate skating new boards on my rough ass driveway ground.  But I nosegrinded it and sw fs lipped which was cool. Good to know I still can skate it.

I'm just happy I had the chance to go skating today. I had so much fun! Good to know I didn't really "lose" any tricks other than a few flip tricks(which I generally suck at anyways). Best part was how much shit I ate, haven't ached liked this in weeks.

staying out of about a foot of new snow in a heated barn with miniramp. yelling with my friends, snaking eachother, bets, stupid tricks and all the awesome shenanigans that go along with a good mini session.

Did a line of basic tricks at the park today so long that I collapsed and couldn't see straight or breath for a while. Had to have been going for like 15 minutes straight.

Dropped off my car at the repair shop in laguna beach about an hour ago, and I've just been skating through alleyways and side streets  looking for spots. Haven't found much yet, but cruising hills and ollieing sewer caps on the way down has been so fun.

I won a Game Of Skate after probably 50 games finally. I think that I have a lot of flip tricks, and usually on lock, but in GOS, they just dont work. But today was my day, I smoked my buddies three times in a row. Now, another 3 months without win can begin.

I set up a new zig-zagger that i made for my girls bday years ago. She doesnt use it, so i commondered it back. Took of the softy wheels and threw on some new spits. So much fun to ride, just rolled around for few mins outside my spot. Got a nice slappy grind, all fast n shit... Gonna go for a proper SF cruise in a few mins. Windy and cold but wont care

As a lot of you know, I am currently deployed to Afghanistan.  I haven't touched my board since October and I won't get to until May, when I go home for 2 weeks.  Lately, I've been daydreaming about that first little session.  My sleep patterns are all fucked up so I tend to wake up before my wife does.  I really enjoy waking up, starting the coffee, playing with the dogs a bit and then just going out for an early session.  I love going to spots or just pushing when it's early and things haven't started yet.  The street is fully yours and it's just you and the sound of your wheels.  Then after an hour or so I just cruise home, throw on some records and start breakfast for my wife and I.

88 days, this is MINE.

^^ Damn, I can imagine that first session is gonna feel like nirvana or some shit man.

Just you an the sound of the wheels in the 'earl of morn. ohyeaahahah

It's been dreary weather past few days, shit sucks. Rain all day today. But I still managed to work on some flip tricks while smoking in the backyard, yesterday.
This might as well go in the accidental trick thread, but I did a switch heel to primo, and landed it, so i could make myself believe i did something cool. Oh, and my pop and flick on switch flips is improving. BAM!
