Your parts always make me want to go out and hurt myself on a skateboard and your guarte part introduced me to thrash era metallica, I was falsly under the impression they always sucked. What's up with the Santa Cruz localism bullshit though? I can understand being protective of spots, both nature and skate, but dudes down there seem unnecessarily violent with the localism, why?

This is funny because when I watch your footage, one of my first thoughts is "this would be the last skater to have a message board account".  I can see JT, Kalis and Karl being a bit more technology friendly.. but none of you really fit the nerdy, hipster, sarcastic, Slap persona.  Why do you think the ams/pros who seem like they'd be Slap posters don't sign up?

Thats good you wanna hurt yourself i guess!? thanks. Metallica is rad, i really like there old stuff.  Localism in Santa Cruz isn't much different then a lot of places, Santa Cruz just happens to be a melding pot as well as provide cultural clash. It sucks when as a established, mainly self sustained community your forced to live down your means because some greedy landlord or .com-er or corporation wants a piece, leaving "us" locals to struggle at times. The environment plays a big roll too. Some people just don't know how to respect it. I've grown away from those angry feelings towards "outsiders" and realized that these things are inevitable, and it's usually better to get along then not. Skating requires an open mind.

To tell you the truth I'm not computer savy at all! I've had some down time lately and figured this is a good way to spend it. Slap is tight and there's probably more am/pros on here then you think. I opted from having an alias to avoid more bullshit discussions. JT, Kalis and Karl are OG's and know what's up! I'm fallowing there lead on the message board thing.
