Man, I saw that Nardwuar interview with odd future a few days ago, it was a trip, I hadn't really seen him in maybe like 7 or 8 years. The odd future and lil b ones are some of the funniest I've seen.

I get a vibe of fear from most of the people he interviews. Nardwuar knows more about them then they know about themselves. Most of the time they look like asses ,while Nardwuar schools them on their own influences their response is usually " yea yea I know what your talking about" THEY HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA!  Nardwuar is legit, the shit, & legendary.

wtf was up with that dude from blur ?  , I understand being sick of interviews and touring , but cmon ...

Anyways some of Nardwuar is great , alot of the victims seem happy to be there and stoked , but about half of them are either weirded out , dont know what the fuck he is talking about , or nardwuar is messing up the interview by being way anoying

Hah. I thought I was the only guy who knew about/watched all the interviews this guy does. There are some really great one, and a lot of times it will show you which artists are really cool and which are actually assholes. In that Henry Rollins interview it was probably asshole-peak for Rollins but by the end you can tell that Henry is a little impressed and comes around:

very impressive interviewer, if not the best in canada. not only is his research on the musicians incredible but even how he keeps a steady composure when the interview gets out of hand or awkward. comes bearing gifts and out of the ordinary questions... a lot of respect for this guy.

I was walking down 6th street in Austin drunk last SXSW and randomly saw him walking the other way. I screamed NARDWUAR! NARDWUAR! NARDWUAR! He stopped and I talked to him for a few minutes and I gave him a big hug and told him he was my favorite interviewer. He gave me a free DVD of a shit ton of his interviews.

It was fucking awesome. I totally fanned out buttfuck, it's Nardwuar and I was drunk.

I'm amazed at how his shtick has remained so unchanged for such a long time... it's also weird that a guy that's spoken (albeit jokingly) to fucking Gorby would get hassled by a pissant like that fucker from Blur.

I just hope the assholes that have been assholy to him can see the dickishness in their behavior and regret blowing it.

He seems to always find a connection to Canada with practically every artist. I don't think I can ever watch another music interviewer again. Favorite has to be the GWAR, Rollins, and The Melvins one. Oh Joanna Newsom can sit on my face.

I have to say this dude seemed a bit freaky at first, but the second time I saw him I just had to appreciate the knowledge and dedication. Dude is crazy. And it's funny to see those guests trip out hard when someone does something unexpected like that.
