WOw, I remember as a kid seeing this guy on much music and just thought he was a weirdo, guess I was to young to appreciate his knowledge.  But holy shit, I've spent almost 2 hours watching his interviews and every time it blows me away, and blows away the guy who's being interviewed.  The Pharrell one was priceless.  Thanks for pointing these out.  Gnar'd

yeah the pharrell was one great and I understand him wanting Jay-Z to experience the Nardwuar treatment as well, but the Nard obviously didn't have much time to prepare for that interview.

Never appreciated him when I was younger, only remember some interview with a someone from a metal band in a bathroom where the dude was super over it. Watching these now, he's definitely on point.

that could have been alot more interesting of an interview. Henry Rollins has a music knowledge that rivals Nardwuar's. If you live in LA, Rollins has a radio program friday nights i think 8-10 on kcrw thats great. you can find them online too. some people cant stand HR and think hes too self- interested and longwinded, but i think his broadcasts are hilarious

Getting an interview from Nardwuar more of a rite of passage than anything, and its generally accepted by the artists that youre going to feel like a fool at some point. nardwuars annoying attitude is usually gives you a good glimpse at who these people really are
