That was terrible. I mean, I knew it was going to be terrible, but shit that was terrible. Are they being commissioned by Warner to make that? They didn't want to hire anybody who took two weeks of a screenwriting class?

the show was kicking as and then the kitana and mileena episodes KILLED it. i've been hearing people call those eps Mordor Kombat and I agree. I kinda like the raiden episode but i'm not sure why, It wasn't anything like i pictured it. I think the scorpion and sub zero eps show promise, but i'll wait to see how part 2 unfolds.

all up so far i wish it was more like that 7 min trailer released last year. but i'm still happy to see more mortal kombat.

The 7 minute trailer had more depth and development than any of these 8-10 minute episodes. I'm not sure if it was because he's trying too hard now, or if the limited budget and time frame for the trailer really brought out the best. I know that Tancharoen met with Ed Boon after the Rebirth trailer and I'm assuming Boon gave him some "suggestions" for the series (include more mystical shit and magic fireballs).

The Raiden episode was only better than the Kitana/Mileena episodes because it didn't have cartoons, fantasy world shit, Shao Kahn with a bowl-cut, or Baraka looking like a troll.

I think the Mileena and Kitana episodes were a little contrived. The Raiden episode should have been a two parter. Otherwise I think it's going great. Keeping it split up is good to keep the viewer ship up, with people popping back in every once and a while. At least none of them have been SUPER cheesy.

Kevin Tancharoen dropped this one on it's head. Episode 9 won't be out until end of July. Episode 8 went up May 30th. He had a great idea to begin with and then deviated from it to make it watered down again.

I think it got pushed back even later now. I think hes waiting for Comic con  to release episode 9 and 10. If thats true im pretty bummed.
