Hey pals, i got a doubt.. i know who steve olson is (a legend, alex olson?s dad and get laid with a teenager) But i remember "other" Steve olson i guess... The One with Glasses, skated for shortys, with a part in fullfill the dream.. what about him? where is he now? or is the same steve olson?

I did a google search to get to the bottom of this.  Apparently he's moved on to senior vice president of Corporate Development.

not sure if its true but someone told me steve olson (senior) paid all of steve olsons sponsors off to get rid of him because "there is only room for one steve olson in skateboarding", sounds kind of ridiculous but this is SLAP and I had to post it

Met young Steve at a demo at our private park a number of years ago, really quiet but a nice guy, bullshitted with him in an epic circle of pipes and blunts being passed around. For real, every time you passed something off, someone else was putting wacky tobaccy in your other hand.

Old Steve Olson... I definitely didn't get the prick vibe... hell, me and Tate met him, took fanning out pics with him, and he invited us to skate with him later that day. He has some people in Louisiana so maybe I caught his good side, but he was fucking great to meet. Super talkative, could have bs'd all day with the guy.

Whatever!  I met him in Toronto at his art show... He signed my Enjoi T-shirt (a joke all on it's own) and gave me a smoke.   The dude is rad!

I remember a Thunder ad with Shorty's Steve Olson where it said he rode a 145 and a 147 on his setup.  Wonder if it was true or if they were just playing up his eccentricities.
