if the thunders are 8.5 and thunders and venture are both made by deluxe does it not make more sense to have a truck in between 8 and 8.5 seeing as they is a massive call for it. and venture has in my eyes been a more tech/street skater truck.

indy 149's use to be a 8.25 and they had a 159 wich was an 8.5 i do believe. they cut that a while ago though

I have no idea why all the truck companies give those weird numbers to the trucks, why the just dont use board sizing..Fuck that shit.

The number they're giving is the width of the hangar. Indy 139's = 139mm-wide hangar. Venture 5.2's have a 5.2-inch wide hangar, which is a little less than 139mm.

I know, but still.. Why dont they just dont tell the exact size of the whole truck, it would make everything a lot easier.

every truck company has three different sized trucks.
with venture for instance its

5.0
5.2
5.8

thunder is

145
147
149

it matches up perfect with every board brands main sizing.

7.75
8.00
8.25

just match em up.
its not that hard.
when it comes to those weird in between sizes it's just a matter wether or not you like your trucks to stick out or in.
personal preference.
easy.

Indy 149's are 8.25.
Thunder and Theeve also make trucks to fit 8.25 boards, and so do Destructo.

Can't seem to find them online and my shop doesn't have them. Not even sure if they'll get them.
