i also admit that i didn't believe in ricky rubio before the season but he's been killing it so far. not the slow start i expected.

The wolves have lost 5 games. 4 of the 5 they lost with 4 or less point difference. Rubio & Love have been doing amazingly and I am positive that they will be one of the top 5 teams by the end of this short season.
And with derrick Williams, they are gonna do much better. I always had fate in rubio, people thought he couldnt couldn't play in this league, but he's showing that he can be rookie of the year and finally give the timberwolves a winning season.

top5 team is pretty far fetched. they probably wont make the playoffs this year but if they can keep the core of their roster they have a chance of doing good in the next couple of years.

I'm also riding the rubio express. I had my doubts but he seems to have the messi syndrome where he can only play with quality players not from his country. I believe in this wolves team so much I got a bet on them for over 37 wins. They are going to need to figure out a way to close if I'm going to win this farfetched bet. i know I'm going to lose, I just want to believe that they can grab the 7 seed.

Kilgore - you still in the fantasy league, or is your team a walking zombie? If you're just letting it run wild, you're leading in the east so far.

forreal man i been a kobe fan for a while but i dont think they can get past OKC. they some fuckin beasts. real talk tho ima bulls fan (i live in illinois) i love gibson & noah but i think they should try to trade em for dwight howard. D-Rose is my nigga but i dunno if he can get Chicago past Miami on his own. I know we got the No. 1 record in the league & the chemistry is really nice but Dwight Howard is not yo oridinary nigga. i think they should go for that shit as long as they dont give up deng, asik (or gibson one or the other), & brewer. anyone else can get traded. Noah's my guy too but replacing him with dwight is nothing short of an upgrade.

also steve nash needs to get traded ASAP. fuck that shitty ass suns squad he needs to spend the twilight of his career with a winning team. he'd be raw on miami but they aint got the trade pieces for all that. LA is in desperate need of a good PG but i dunno who'd they trade for em.

id also like to remind then Knicks that they garbage as fuck for gutting their whole roster for carmelo when they could've just waited it out to sign em. Denvers a way better team & got the best end of the deal. could you imagine if they didnt trade for melo?

PG- Raymond Felton
SG- Wilson Chandler
SF- Melo (gallinari as 6th man)
PF- Amare
C- Tyson Chandler

omfg they woulda been a championship contender! even with d'antoni's nasty ass

A short term solution for a long term problem, or how to deal with aging superstars vol. 1: Lakers Edition.

Haven't crunched the numbers exactly, but if you were a gm and could make this trade how could you not think about this for more than 5 minutes.

We start the entire process by amnestying Luke Walton. He hardly plays and has the fourth largest salary on the lakers. Next we make the obvious move and ship out Bynum and Gasol for Howard. Next we shock the world by trading Kobe and a the trade exemption to the Knicks for Amar'e, Landry Fields and Iman shumpert. This (approximately) leaves enough money to sign Deron Williams in the off season.

Maybe I'm crazy but I feel like this could work.

kobe has a no trade clause, he can only be traded if he okays the deal. BUT i could see kobe getting butthurt and accepting the offer, and taking his game to NYC (honestly only other place he'd ever want to play because of the stage in nyc) and going pure chuck mode and gunning for KAJ's record cause he's already got the hardware, maybe get's them to be a 55 win team (possibly getting him another mvp trophy) considering what they do with carmelo cause those two on the same team wouldn't work and would ruin my hypothetical reason why he'd want to go there in the first place. basically i'm saying he'd go to nyc to pad his resume.

Yeah fuck what I said! Amar'es mad soft and Hawes got good! So hyped after last nights win against the Bulls! Playing the Heat tomorrow.  Time to see what were really made of.

Also,

Bucks beat the Heat for the second time this year last night. Brandon Jennings is mad nice!

sixers cant beat the bulls when rip and/or deng are playing. without them bulls run the most predictable offense ive ever seen and any team with half a brain can stop it. i do like the sixers team though they have cool players and hope they beat the heat.

i hate brandon jennings but its lulz to see the bucks beat the heat.

hopefully he still gets the PT once melo & amare get back. if he can keep up this level of play maybe the knicks wont totally suck after all, altough they still fail for denver being the better team now, smh.
