For anyone who streams Netflix, they know there is a lot of crap to weed through. Anyone have any suggestions that don't suck?

Mine is '180 Degrees South'. A documentary about a man's journey to climb Patagonia. I learned about it from Heath's blog and it will make you want to do something adventurous.

Darks Days was ok, but you should really read Mole People by Jennifer Toth.
It really goes a lot "deeper", if you know what I mean!

13 assasins- amazing new-ish samurai movie

kagemusha- kirasawa classic

white lightnin'- watched this last night. pretty good. a lot darker than i thought it would be.

troll hunter- thought it would be terrible. was better than i expected.

pulling john- documentary about arm wrestling. it's basically over the top combined with rocky. worth a watch for the russian training montages alone.

cocaine cowboys 1&2- in my top 5 documentaries of all time. i didn't like all the cartoon stuff in the second one but the story is even more insane.

classics:
carlito's way
dog day afternoon
big trouble in little china
chinatown
they live

Heard some of it was put on for the crews but I would definitely not doubt that they would do it so whatever.

There's an anime series called "Death Note" which was surprisingly good.

If you haven't tried Lost, go for it.

First season of Desperate Housewives was pretty funny, somehow lost interest after the first season though.

The Comedy Central Roasts are good fun (Charlie Sheen, Bob Saget, inter alia).

First Season of The Walking Dead (the AMC show).

Weeds.

Jericho.

Battlestar Galactica.

There is more Bieber coverage on Slap than one would expect from a bunch of manboys arguing the minutiae of rollerboard stunts. Actually now that I type that it kinda makes sense.

"The End of America" sort of freaked me out. You need to take some of it with a grain of salt but the similarities are too real to just be a coincidence.
