those both look sick to me.. olive. and rust? pretty tired of black and white. and greys. and all that. but bright ass red isn't for me either. and those are the best photos yet. it looks like my personal dream shoe! hope they skate good.

Have to agree, plus the odd colourways mean that they'll be on sale in a couple of months

the more I see the Puig toecap the more I'm remined of the old vans Agah (albeit not rubber)

damn all of this hype has got me really anticipating the lucas shoe. will definitely not buy it online as it seems like a shoe that might not look as rad in person, but if i see it somewhere and there's nothing about that makes my skate ocd kick in, i'll pick a pair up for sure.

I really recommend people try them on first anyways. They're so thin I had to go down a half size. They're not that tight but they'll form to your foot and fit like a glove.

Good for him. Shoe looks tight. Will probably skate them if I see them in shops in my area.

Adidas is trying hard to break my Nike streak and with these, I think it worked.

Waiting on the white ones.  I need to give black shoes a break for a pair.

My local shop just got the Lucas shoe and the Silas 2s in and they are both pretty amazing.  I ended up buying the Lucas shoe and it skates so well right out of the box. It feels like its been broken in and fits very true to size, had to get a half size down. The materials they use on the lucas shoe are so much better than on any of the other adidas models and justify the $80 price tag.  They also utilize some adidas soccer shoe technology, a synthetic material on the inner-side panels of the shoe called Sprint Skin, which im guessing contributes to the shoes light weight and provides great rigidity. Sprint Skin Defined:  "Adidas Sprint Skin technology is a single layer synthetic that provides reduced weight and excellent ball control. Sprint Skin is a synthetic material that is lighter, thinner and softer than usual synthetics, making this football boot supreme for speed, comfort and feel. Increased ball control and lightweight features make Sprint Skin ideal for the serious player." Source: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Adidas-F50-Adizero-Football-Boots/124089307620287?sk=info

The Silas 2s feel great. The amounting of padding used can be compared to the Koston 1 nike and the toe box has a nice round shape on the pointier side, would definitely get a pair. The sole reminds me of the janoski sole, which I enjoyed a lot.

confused as fugg.  fits very true to size, yet you got a half size down? and how does the toe look from above? it kinda looks all square and not good at all.

They fit kind of big: I wear 9,5 in Busenitz, 9 in these. The toe looks kind of big from above but not square at all.

Anybody else notice the problem of pebbles getting stuck in a real bad way in the threads of the soles? I feel like it's particularly bad in this shoe, to the point where I have to dig the pebbles out every single time I step on the board unless I want scratches on my griptape. Even walking 10 steps on sand for is enough for pebbles to get in the threads and they're not coming out easily. You have to use a key or whatever you happen to have handy.

It's like you'd have to carry your skateshoes to the spot and make sure not ever to step on anything but concrete.

Sorry about the rant but I'm going skating and I once again have to start the session with that bullshit, I just had to share this.

I have two pairs, and while I don't have that problem, I was supremely bummed after discovering I stepped on some gum the first day I wore 'em.  That shit drives me nuts.

How does the seem where the toe cap and midsole meet hold up? Looks as though it that would come apart pretty fast.

i've been skating mine for 3 or 4 weeks now and the stitching by your pinkie toe eventually starts to go at the corner of the toecap but there's a bit of suede under there and i basically glued the edge back down w/a bit of shoe goo.  if you don't do that it will eventually blow out.  otherwise the shoe is incredibly durable (apart from the fact that i'm on my 4th set of laces).

Just made the purchase on the white/navy ones for less than fifty bucks, gyeeah!  But, bought them a 1/2 size bigger than normal.  Lemme hear the scrutiny now, please?
