Want to plan a roadtrip from LA to Vancouver next summer. Do the whole camp and skate the parks thing. I know northern california pretty well, but was wondering what parks I should hit up in Oregon? The following will be included for sure: Burnside, Marginal, Klamath Falls, Lincoln City. What else is worth hitting? Is Orcas still around? I heard they were going to bulldoze it a while back but don't know how it ended. Photos might help if you got 'em of the park.

I went in 2005, so I know there is a lot of amazing new parks. My 2 favorites outside of the ones you listed are Aumsville and West Linn.

Yeah you should definitely make Battleground and Hood River a priority. Eugene is pretty awesome too (Amazon Bowl, Cal Young, and a million other parks).

Skip Klamath. In Oregon: Redmond, Donald, Newberg, maybe Port Orford. Don't sleep on the Brooklyn DIY in Portland. Toledo is also good. Tigard, skate a dinosaur. Tobin's bowl if you can get the hookup. When drinking in Portland make sure to hit up the Sandy Hut.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of retarded kids and a van full of paraplegics.

cant remember the name but there is an arcade with all old games that becomes a bar at night, was totally dead but cheap beer and 10+ pinball machines made it a great time. called mass control or something

valuable info. klamath is epic, but the kooks that are in charge of the park make it totally not worth going there at all.
orcas island skatepark is still there. every once in a while, the local skeered patrol makes a huge stink about kids not wearing helmets at the park, and they threaten to tear it down. but considering it's a memorial to a local kid that died, and its a world-renowned tourist attraction on an island that's pretty much completely dependent on tourist dollars, i don't see it getting bulldozed anytime soon.
hit me up when you roll thru, and i'll play tourguide if i'm free.

Klamath doesn't have any monitors anymore and no helmet rules. If you like bowls, it's your place. All pool coping.

They'll never shut down Orcas. They fear Llarolds chickens.
