Weird smelling jeans from Zumiez

Hey all,

  My mom bought me some Matix jeans from Zumiez (despite the fact that I told her not to multiple times, explaining how Zumiez is terrible etc etc..) and they have this extremely foul odor. I've had people tell me that this has happened to them before.  Has anybody on the board had this experience? If so, were or were you not able to get rid of the odor?

well I often go into zumiez and piss all over their merchandise, so maybe we're in the same area?

Support a real skate shop and I'm sure you wont have that problem.

Have the same problem (although I didn't buy them at Zumiez or any other similar shop). Two years in and they still smell wird, although a bit less. Don't know, air them out, wash them, wear them and the smell will become bearable...

put them in a pastic bag and stick them in the freezer over night, this may help as germs/bacteria cannot survive in the cold atmosphere of your freezer,

if it is in fact urine that has saturated your zumiez gear I'm not quite sure this will help.
