Has anyone else noticed that Stage X indies have a very small difference in the height between the hangar and the axle??? Its the second pair i get that is like that... The first one was a standard pair and it had a bigger kigpin so i switched to soft bushings and tightened them much so that the kigpin sticks out so i can cut it, and it worked. After a year i get some other indies from a friend, brand new, that are the chris hasslam model. They seem like they are lows. Anyway i put them on and i notice there is only 1-2 mm gap from axle to hangar when i put my skate on grind position on my office. WTF??? Its a brand new truck and i cant 50-50 chunky ledges because the kigpin gets on the ledge.

I mean i have to smith grind from both sides on some metal rail or ledge, to "eat" the axle and make them 100% skateable. That's not cool. Has anyone else noticed this problem or did i get faulty trucks for the second time in a row or am i just crazy??? I had many pairs of indies(older stages) in the past never had a problem.

If this is some kind of new policy from indies what is the best truck to try??? I am a heavy dude and i really got problem with breaking baseplates and kigpins on other trucks in few months,  except independent (it happens only after 1 - 1,5 year of skating them). I have tried tensor, venture and destructo(years before) and they were all shit.

Is this a serious question? From your description of the problem I have no clue what the problem is? Axle? Hangar thickness? Kingpin? My stage 10's are just fine. If they're Indy's then expect your kingpin and nut to be a grinding surface along with your hangar. Not so much a problem once the top of the kingpin gets ground down some, as long as you don't adjust your trucks or change bushings often.Noisy go grind some chunky ledges and get your shit worn in.
