Am I the only one who doesn't seem the appeal of Cons...like, AT ALL. I pretty much dislike every single one of their designs. I can't be the only one...right?

i saw one pair of mids that blackeye77 posted on here that i liked. other than that i havent seen a pair that id actually wear. i dont like those flimsy ass vulc shoes and i was never a fan of the chuck taylors as casual shoes either

Duffs or Vox. I'm surprised Duffs has made it this far.

Although I wldnt want them to slip under, I have NEVER in all the years I've skated seen not one person with circas on their feet...skater or not

That's funny, where I am they are really popular

I see Circa's all the time, lately mostly the Widows. I've owned several pairs myself and love their shoes, hope they don't go anywhere. Widow's and Tre's are both very good from what I hear.

I used to work as a rep for Circa, they sell pretty good and wont go anywhere.
They also make the best skateshoes i ever tried, and i have tried all the brands out there.

i honestly think we'll see Lakai go before Vox and Circa. Vox and Circa don't have as many heavy hitter pros on the team, therefore they have a much smaller over-head. These brands are also generally sold in shops that DON'T carry the big brands (Nike SB, Cons, Adidas, and even Vans). There are tons of places around the US(Florida is a big one) that Vox and Circa do great because there are so many small shops that only sell these brands, Fallen and maybe eS (RIP).

I hate to see some of the best companies going under because of the big guys at Nike buying the heart of skaters.

The Tre's are the first Circa shoe Ive ever owned, and probably the best shoe Ive ever skated

I couldnt find a single person wearing their shoes at that demo, besides the globe team riders.
Wonder if they sell anything at all.

dont think they will last very long

Globe has been around for years an years, as stated elsewhere in this topic they are huge in Australia. Like Osiris, you don't have to sell to people that really skate to be successful. Appealing to another demographic is the smartest thing business wise to do.
VOX has to be hurting right about now.

I live in Norway, and Circa, Vox and Globe are really popular here.

I've never seen a person wearing Gravis, even though all shops sell them.

Duffs or Vox. I'm surprised Duffs has made it this far.

I think Duffs only has a few people on the team, but they sponsor BMX riders too.

Also, if you have a South Shore account, you can order Duffs through there. I don't think they're hurting badly.

Clearly those who doubt Globe's popularity have never heard of Aus/NZ.

THEY. ARE. EVERYWHERE.

Really...? Maybe a few years ago but nowadays i never see anyone in sydney wearing them, but aust is a big place so i guess they could be wearing them in W.A....

dont think australia has enough people to keep a brand alive, 22million people or something...

glad they do well there, so they can keep on paying the riders

how is Gravis in the states? Not really seen much where I am in the UK

I've never seen anyone else wearing them, but I've skated Gravis for my last three pairs since I found an online store (no local shops here) that sell close-out models for $15/pair. I'm not picky about shoes.

The one pair of Circa's I had were really good. I really hope they don't go out of business. I'd buy more of their shoes if I didn't have such a hard time finding them down here.
Also I don't think Lakai is going anywhere. They're really popular around here, like REALLY popular. I see tons of people rocking Lakais, even a lot of people who don't even look like they skat wear them here.

Vox will probably go, they're whole marketing scheme off selling forty dollar shoes not only indicates that they're struggling, but it also kind of affects the industry bc it lowers the market with other brands having to make cheaper shoes.

Circa Maxon.  Absolutely the best shoes I've skated in years.  Super light, super comfortable. Yep.

How is vox hurting the market by having lower priced shoes?
