The overdone hipster editing was really shitty.
Songs really sucked aside from the Wu track.
Skating was good though.

Josh and Lee need to go pro like as soon as fucking possible. They're losing money without their pro models.

I really enjoyed this video, remember in the OIAM with Tom K when they spotted Josh Matthews just skating around doin his thing? Yeah well I've been waiting for footage of him since that and it was awesome! Really enjoyed watching Williams rip too. Friday treat, time to skate.

This is pretty much how I felt. The old vintage clips got annoying after a while and the soundtrack sucked aside fromt eh Wu joint, which was why Adrian Williams part was my favorite. I want to see a QuarterSnacks edit cause those guys will make this video way better.

I thought the music was mostly good, but it was a little heavy handed on the trans-america building footage and the segue clips that they used multiple times of the guys skating down that street over and over again got kind of old. But quite a handful of rad clips overall.

Just saw it 3 times in a row . Fucking sick vid . Really good parts from everybody . music was tight too . filming was good and editing
only bad thing was bachinskys short ass part . But cest la vie
correct me if i'm wrong but bachinsky is the only one of the group to have put out recent footage though, so it makes sense. most of these dudes haven't had parts in ages so it makes sense that they'd be stacking footage like this. josh matthews was ridiculous though, nearly every trick was amazing.
Nah you are right , but since it was his board sponsor I would have thought he would be stacking footage like crazy , like a 2 song part or something . I know he just did the Vox vid . And
hes pretty much my fav skater so kinda bummed
vid killed it though
hahha gross
everything was ill, expect the super8 footy so played
think has been trying to drop a full video since 08 pretty much, they blew it was alot of riders. someone must be a moron over there.

^^^Seriously. The video would have been that much better with Manny and Dela in it. I wish they saved most of the footy for the video instead of making all those promos. I think the 5 Boro video was a more well rounded video with the songs and look. This video was ok but glad it was free online.

promos started and sustained hype for this. if they saved it all and released one spectacular video they would have a serious high point and then fall off again, a la powell. and shit, powell still didn't sell boards after that in my area.

I guess art fags like me.
I wasn't that taken by the skating. Everyone had a few rad clips for sure, but it didn't speak to me much otherwise. That's not to say I don't respect the gnarliness or talent involved.

Anyone remember Danny Gonzalez's same trick in A Time to Shine? It still amazes me to this day. So far its only been him and Yankou that did it.. that Ive seen at least. Amazing.

Editing wasnt very think-like to me. Its like they saw mosaic for the first time and tried making that but failed. For what its worth it wasnt thaaaat bad. I liked the video. Josh matthews and lee yankou had the best parts. Loved everything about how subtly amazing joshs opening line was.

not sure what people expected from the soundtrack, but it fits with Thinks esthetic pretty well...at least the esthetic in place since it was moved to Strangebird and Justin took over as TM...while alot of the songs arent something id listen to normally, it fit well as did the super-8 footage and montages...but you cant please everybody can you?
Its really great to see Think back in the mix, they were dormant for way too long. it sucks Dela, Reeves and others couldnt have stuck around but I'm not exactly worried about Dela, and from what i here Reeves is doing A-OK himself...but we all know if they both had parts in this it wouldve been gnuts...
A+ guys, well done.

At a certain point the strength of the skating shines over even the worst edits.it wasn't like it was terrible, just formulaic.the skating was that good though, so ridiculous.every part had multiple wow tricks. Adrian williams put torey's whole career to shame with his last trick.josh matthews did the same for most stylish cali dudes.
