That first paragraph summed up Slap really really well. Also, you should definitely skate to Wu-Tang in your next part and not Animal Collective.

jake question,
heard once, probably on slap, that you only wear cupsole shoes for skating because of feet issues.
does gravis keep a stock of the old viking cupsole for you? or, witch gravis shoes do you actually skate?
its stupid and minut, curious anyways.

If I talk all kinds of shit on you will you fly up to Canada and play me in a game of skate?
Kidding aside the site you've set up and the trips your planning are a great way to connect skaters together and get them off the couch.
Being a guy who's a bit older I haven't really got on the instagram/ twitter bandwagon yet. Slap seems like it wastes enough of my time as a guilty pleasure. But it's good to see someone using it to reach out to their piers instead of an endless diatribe of their thoughts and were they ate lunch.
I'm as hyped as anyone on here to see your tricks in the new Transworld video. I've watched that recent Fatback video probably 10x and even your throw away footage is solid.

That was one hell of an introduction, it's nice to have you here. Also, in case you didn't know, 99% of SLAP wants to have a board with your name on it.

Please hit some non-traditional tour spots.
Any company would get a way bigger boost by touring to these backwoods instead of going around the regular circuit.

woah woah woah guys.....you're not just going to accept this guy as being the real jake johnson after one(extremely long) post, are you?
He's gotta prove its him the same way Kalis and the others did. Jake, if that really is your name, we're going to need you to post a picture of yourself holding up a piece of paper that says "COTG: I challenge you" before we're gonna believe its really you.....or just one that says "slap pals", i guess.....
Once that is taken care of....let the photoshopping of dicks commence.

I can confirm that it really is Jake Johnson, but feel free to commence the ritual hazing.

a couple years ago i would go geocaching like every weekend. its too fun. we would have a bunch of spitfire stickers and slap them in the log books everytime we found a cache. btw this tour/contest is so fucking cool. original and fun idea backed by a bunch of rippers.

i had an idea a long time for something do while geocaching, you fill a cache with wasps or ants or something so when someone finds it and opens it, all hyped, they get attacked by starving wasps.

Map Masquerade: Geocache #2 Las Vegas
Is that Alex Davis? Does anyone know what the fuck is up with this guy? He's honestly one of my favorite skaters and I want more footage! For more footage I'd imagine he's gonna need some sponsors so.... wtf?

http://www.asenseofdirection.org/2012/02/27/masquerade-contest-cache-1-las-vegas/
The Vegas Masquerade was a success. Some came up big, while some went down hard. There were late nights and long days, free booze, and overpriced coffee. We Dropped product everywhere we went, and thanks to the help of Tim Lay at Let it Roll skate shop, and Brett Frasier at Pharmacy, we were able to involve a lot of local Vegas skaters and hook them up with free product, and a new experience. Now, with the final Geocache drop, we are giving on perseverant individual an opportunity to win a bulk of product, a free flight, an open doorway to another state, and the wealth of skate spots that lay within. Use the following ?visual map? and the clues we provided to decipher the Geodrop location. Once you have an idea as to the drop location, you can verify it by making a comment on our face book, or twitter page. We will only verify the location one time. If you?re confident in your answer, make your way to the drop location to see if you were right. The following product will be waiting for you:
2 Decks from 5boro, 2 decks from Traffic, 1 deck from Magenta, 1 set of OJ wheels, 1 pair of Bones Swiss, 5 assorted t-shirts, Slap Magazine stickers and accessories, 1 Bottoms up Beanie, 1 usb drive containing our San Francisco Masquerade footage. 1 rip it energy drink.
Once the Cache is found, you will have to return it to one of the two home base locations. Let it Roll skate shop (Latitude 36.127947, Longitude -115.278951), or Pharmacy skate shop. (36.020761, -115.125950). Brag about all the new product you just got, watch the full resolution clip with your friends, set up a new board, and go use it! If the cache is not found within 3 days the grand prize will be void, the video clip will premier on slapmagazine.com, and the next grand prize Cache will be announced. Good luck to all who are participating, use your heads and your local resources. Discover something new and enjoy the adventure. B^up
