Cash Money signed Limp Bizkit.  Wayne is featured on an LB song.

How long til that rap-rock shit comes back and Limp Bizkit does a Supra shoe?  Go ahead and tell me that you can say they won't with 100% certainty.

So far all I have seen come of Lil' Wayne's new found love for skateboarding is a lot of money going into his pocket from his shitty lyfestlye line and a new toy for him to carry around this week. If he is really so down for the cause, he should be giving back to the community. Since he is so paid, as the kids say, he should build a nice plaza in New Orleans or something.

weezy x supra x kemit the frog

Hahahahah hahahaha!

Him skating is whatever to me. I just have a problem with certain people assuming that since I'm black I started skating because I saw fucking Wayne do it. I caught the similar flack when Kanye first blew up because of the shit I wear....pretty racist.

I DO have a problem with Trukfit though. Alot of those cartoon designs are just rip offs of old Bape images, of which I remember him wearing alot of back in the day.

And just like someone said earlier, I thought he already had his own coloreway for the Vaiders a couple of years back?

If he is really so down for the cause, he should be giving back to the community. Since he is so paid, as the kids say, he should build a nice plaza in New Orleans or something.

"Lil Wayne and Mountain Dew will team up for a synergistic, advertising partnership entitled DEWeezy, complete with advertisements, appearances and thebuilding of a skate park in Lil Wayne?s hometown of New Orleans. While full details will be announced at this year?s South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Conference and Festival, the DEWeezy campaign has already begun buzzing on social media sites with images of the iconic artist appearing in the form of street art and painted murals. Overseen by Blueprint Group and produced by GLU Agency, the campaign, driven by social responsibility and giving back, emphasizes the importance of successful private-public partnerships. Blueprint Group worked closely with Glu Agency to expand the partnership into a full scale campaign, anchored in Lil Wayne?s touring presence and outside interests including skateboarding and the rebuilding of New Orleans.

?We are excited to partner Lil Wayne?s brand with a brand like Mountain Dew, a household name. Representatives from the Glu Agency approached us with the idea over a year ago, which was surprising to us because corporate America is often very conservative and Lil Wayne is a unique artist,? says Cortez Bryant, co-CEO of Blueprint Group. ?However by showing interest in Lil Wayne, both Mountain Dew and the Glu Agency showed us they were forward thinking and valued the impact that Lil Wayne?s brand has had and will continue to have on global pop culture?.|"

I think he just decided to skate for a week so he could call himself a "skater" and then make a shitload of cash off of it.

Way to contribute to a thread without reading anything that has been said before you.
