DLX shapes?

from my experience all the dlx boards come in 7.9, 8.02, 8.06, 8.12 8.25, 8.38 and obviously each one has their own shape. does anti hero krooked and real all have their own shapes exclusive to each size? like if I was riding a krooked 8.12 would the anti hero be the same shape or just the same wood?

You should see their shape wall....
There is definitely multiple shapes to most sizes. I find the 8.38's & 8.12's to be butter. Their 8.5 is just wayyyyy short

Krooked, Anti-Hero, and Real have different shapes. Krooked and Anti-Hero are closer while Reals are real different.

I had 6 or 7 decks in a row of the 8.18 shape, it's exactly the same on all three brands.

there is an 8.12 that is a little shorter than the rest. always on drehobol boards. 31.5 instead of 32 i believe. I am not a fan, always tricks me at first glance.

That's my favorite shape for sure. I find 360 flips to be sooooo much easier on a board that's shorter than 32.

The Drehobl has a 31.06 length...which crazy short, but I could definitely see how it would rotate faster
I have the 8.12x32 in my room right now. Haven't skated it yet, but it feels...pretty proper

Every time I try an Anti Hero I can't stand the way it skates, but the graphics are too good. I think that it might have to do something with the wheelbase. Reals are definitely my favorite though. They all seem like they have different shapes to me.

Love that Drehobl Krooked shape. Riding one right now that's almost done. Ordered a new one today actually.

The molds could still be identical, though, right?

I somewhat recently bought a real pricepoint that said 8.06 on the board, but i swear that was like an 8.25. weirded me out.

I have an 8.02 x 31.75 Pfanner and a 8.02 x 31.75 Busenitz "on deck" (ugh, sorry) and laying next to each other they both look the same...a friend of mine who worked at a shop for a long time told me that Real boards had the most concave, with Anti-Hero in the middle and Krooked the least, but I don't know if that's accurate.

Why do DLX 8.5s feel so small? Feel smaller than an 8.38, more like a 8.25

why don't you just measure it?
I don't understand how something can 'feel' small. It is what it is.
Measure it and see if it was correctly labeled.

They are not (although the shape could be the same template), they dont own either woodshop which are competitors. most big brands use more than one place for making boards. so you see differentions

I'm prety sure they are strictly Bareback, which is distributed by Generator. I think it's all Mexican made. I think Baker/DW and KAYO wood is also Bareback. Not certain, but that's what I always thought. Good wood.

I guess it makes sense that people always say Magenta makes good decks
