naw, its cuz you 33 years old and you gotta be one of the lamest niggas on slap
. i aint gon get into details in here im too busy playing keyboard warrior in the diss thread just know that im on yo ass.
another great song choice was chris coles part in ride the sky, & wenning in the DC video if that hasnt been said before. P-rods part in forecast was dope as well when he killed that loading dock ramp while the music started to slow down. that shit was ill.
Dude....
You're probably a decent skateboarder. You're probably a decent guy and fairly intelligent...
But you're a huge kook. You're a kook cause you're always on here spouting about how one user is better than another, or how 'he said this' and 'he said that'. You sound like a fucking middle school girl, for God's sake. You really take SLAP way too seriously. And even if you say you don't, posts like these mean that you really do.
Please, do us all a favor and just chill out? I guess if you want to be the COTG incarnate, then, by all means, fulfill your destiny, but why must you act so high and mighty on a god damn message board? It's not even what you're saying that really bothers me, it's merely the fact that stupidity in general just grinds my gears. And you say a lot of stupid things. So, maybe for my sake, you could stop the kookery and stupidity? Thanks.
Love,
Victor

not to mention that you wrote that entire love letter without mentioning one thing about music in video parts. at least my shit had some input about the thread topic, you just wastin space on here typin irrelevant shit that you KNOW im not gon give a fuck about. lol
Anyway it when comes to good music ina skate video the most important thing is the pacing of the music can compliment the way the footage is presented. it helps to have a "good" song but if you match the layout of the footage with the vibes of the music you'll always make a decent edit. there are songs that i may or may not like but if its used right within the video part, i wont mind listening to it. i think that watching alot of clips online with the mute button is fucking absurd. id rather hear the sound of skateboarding on top of music that i dont necessarily like instead watching a 2-3 minute video with no sound.

thanks guys, my misled youth vhs is somewhere in my parent's house and I haven't watched it for a long time. I totally forgot about that short section until now. Now I'm pretty sure that's where I heard it first, then I re-discovered it on the

He and Strubing were reviving the "urban" (i fucking hate using that word in that sense) skating everyone is so hot for waaay before people got all gay for it these days. I remember I used to get soo psyched to see someone (in the big rail, big gap oversaturation era of the early and mid 2000s) who was skating banks, ditches, tranny, taking creative approaches, Louie Barletta is an example of a timeless weirdo classic.
Now every robot kid has to get a pivot fakie on a steep bank, a pool trick if possible, wallies, polejams etc. It's refreshing for now, but the market is saturated, ya diiiiig.
I just can't wait until curb skating and pressure flips and shit make the comeback.

hahah yeah I don't get it when people think ledge dancing is "creative," when people essentially did the same shit on curbs before I even picked up skating haha.
You really do have to go out of your way to be truly original. Whatever, I don't really pay any attention to people that base their whole trick selection on the norm (not that there's anything wrong with it.
On another note, yeah, louie is the shit. You'd have to search far and wide to find any fault in his skateboarding.

I remember reading somewhere Heath wanted to use Pink Floyd in this part (I can't remember the song, perhaps "Welcome To The Machine"?) but they couldn't get the rights so he "settled" on Moody Blues. "Knights.." is perfect, but some Floyd would have been fucking mind-blowing.
Related note: I can't find the link, but Maldonado skating to "Time" was rad.

bachinsky-yet to skate to a good song
jamie thomas-always picks a rock n roll classic that goes well with his skating
reynolds-another guy that always finds a song to properly accompany his skating
wu welsh and the rest of the aesthetics video was rad
label kills had a great soundtrack minus vallely
most transworlds pre free your mind had good soundtracks
all habitat/workshop videos have great soundtracks-same with zoo york
and generally i think its hard to skate to a song that everyone has heard on the radio a million times, the exception being eli's state of mind part
you must be fucking deaf
