It exists because most kids have fucking terrible taste and they're the ones with the disposable income that support people like him.  He rapped about TWITTER, but at the same time he made the great point that he has 1.9 million followers.  1.9 million people who have at least a passing interest in what dumb shit falls out of his mouth. 

The whole hipster thing of liking something ironically has permeated the mainstream.  You've got regular, non-hipsters who think it's funny to play a Soulja Boy song, wear a shirt or go to his show.  They're still paying him.  Kids are fucking stupid.  You have to ignore shit like this in order for it to go away.
