Yes learn to control his anger, that actions have consequences. Maybe try and do something to better other peoples life's. There was a story on NPR recently where a man who killed a man in a fight was forgiven by the victims mom and now lives next door to her and helps her out in life, I wish that more people could do stuff like this. Holding onto the hate and anger does more damage, if people can grow and learn and understand what a horrible mistake they made and try to make amends for those mistakes.
I know it is easier to say fuck that person let them rot, but that does nothing to help anyone in the long run.

If you kill someone in the heat of the moment during a fight, and after serving your time I believe forgiveness can be warranted due to it being a mistake. Beating the fuck out of someone based on what you deem as a lifestyle choice is just fucking wrong.
