Not that I think this is going to happen but, remember, it is possible he could leave. There is so much more behind getting your contract terminated. There is $$ issues, other team riders, the need to keep the team fresh, etc. Sole Tech is struggling, if Reynolds left Emerica it would certainly be an issue of them not being able to keep his same pay, or having to take out some younger kids to do so.

The only way I could see it happening is if they told him they could only pay him what they are now if they cut a bunch of the younger guys. Seems like that would be a tough move, but he I couldn't see him letting his Emerica Family get thrown to the wayside just so he can keep collecting his larger checks.

if he ended up buying altamont then they could possibly afford to pay him what he'd need to stay with emerica? i dont know much about it, just some industry hear-say. basically the only companies that could pay him what he has been being paid would be nike and vans, but im sure he would never go to either. only time will tell!

yeah i doubt he really cares about the money like that seeing as how he's already pretty rich and is living a minimalist lifestyle. i really couldnt see him getting off Emerica unless he went on to start his own shoe company w/ bakerboys
