converse sizes

i'm curious about the converse sizing. i wear 10,5 on most brands (nike sb, sole tech...). today i tried on a normal chuck taylor, just to find out i need a 9,5. now that i want to get a converse skate shoe i'm confused, is the sizing the same as it is on non skate chucks?

I'm also a 10.5 but the several pairs of cons I've had were all size 10 and fit perfectly. most online shops (like tactics etc.) having sizing notes for their cons to go down a 1/2 size to back that up.

i wear 8.5 in nike sb and 7.5 in cons

Me, I had to go a half size down for the Converse skate shoes. I normally wear a 9 but went down to 8.5 in the Pops shoe. I am also a full size down in the regular Chuck Taylors.

I had to go a full size down. They were kinda tight at first but broke in pretty quickly

I wear a 9 in the nike kostons and vans old skools. I wear an 8 in the cons cts and a 8.5 in the kenny anderson star players.

9.5 in most shoes, 9 in chuck taylors, 8.5 in pappalardos
