I can clearly remember seeing the helicopter drop in footage in a skate shop 10 or so years ago and thinking it couldn't be real.

He is sort of beyond skating.

I understand not throwing in a megaramp part right before hitting the streets, but it is pretty amazing watching people fly like that, and you've gotta at least be curious. The dude has a pretty long record of coming up with crazy shit.

And I'm just, like, "cool".

I'm much more excited to see the latest street part from a pro than probably whatever he's gonna do on a mega ramp...probably. Maybe he'll prove me wrong?

I really can't believe there's hate on Danny.

I met him years ago at the Encinitas Ymca, such a rad dude.

1) For his skating- Have you dipshits even seen Questionable?  He's broken boundaries in pretty much every aspect of skating, can you blame him for wanting to build and try new shit, that's way cooler than blowing his DC millions on luxury cars etc. like you know nearly ever single street pro would.   

2) For his teammates- Dude totally helped people like Neil Mims & AVE while they were struggling with substance issues... and bailed on Wenning 'cause there was clearly no chance of recovery, haha.  +1

3) For his personality- He's respected by pretty much every person in the industry. 

4) For the gay bashing case- I've read loads about that, it's pretty lame to call anyone a murderer when you really have no idea what happened that night.  Where's some proof?

Right.  Anybody hating on Danny's skating is just out of their rabbit ass mind.  He's gone above and beyond in every type of skating, deserves every penny he's made...  He could just kick back, live the millionaire family life and call it a career... but he doesn't.  He spends his money on some new out of this world ramp to push the boundaries even further.  THAT'S A SKATEBOARDER.   Give your dumb ass heads a shake.

Don't get wound up. There is a diversity of opinions on everything here, which makes it both obnoxious and cool simultaneously. Most people are really curious about what he's going to be unveiling, some aren't. Just how it goes.
I guess you could get wound up about the whole brick thing, but at the same time, your best argument is that nobody knows what happened, so there isn't much to go on there. It'll be a circle fest.

ive always wondered how many tricks have been filmed and slept on,  only to have them released first by some kid sketchily pulling it off..


best example would be that 1080,  imagine if say dway had filmed a monster 1080 on his own ramp a while ago,   held onto it for a future ender,

and this kid has blown the whole thing apart, even if danny's was filmed first..
