Got a pair of skully candy headphones for a birthday present last year. They were without a doubt, the worst headphones I've ever experienced. JVC Gumys were better, if that puts it in perspective for anybody.

Koston looks like a cancer patient. I usually just buy the 9.99 dollar no brand headphones from Target. Those have lasted me longer than any other ones i tried.

saw this in the busenitz noseblunt cover transworld, thought it was strange that theotis is throwing up the west side gesture

uh maybe cause he is from Inglewood, California which is located on the West coast of the United States.

It is strange.  It's a gang sign, and totally lame to bring anything like that into skateboarding.  Theo is cool and surely meant nothing by it, but it's pretty lame when you think about it's implications and how it can be interpreted.

So I'm from Canada, does that mean I should make an N with my fingers every time somebody says my name or takes my photo?  so lame.

"Drink the Kool-Aid, Steve.  It's delicious, I swear.  You first and I'll join right after you, I swear.  Hurry up!  Go Ahead."-Hopefully this goes down with the L.Hubbard clan sooner rather than later.

Take note kids.  This is how destructive pretty much every business in the world operates... and it is FUCKED up.

From international UN politics to some lame headphone company; people just take care of those close to them and fuck everyone else over.  Conduct, intentions, morals, goodwill; counts for nothing- Just who's taking care of you.  It's all ass-backwards.

I also vomited in my mouth a little glancing at that article, couldn't get past a few sentences.  The more news about Berra the more I think someone should Tanya Harding X10 his ass... oh wait, it doesn't even matter because he doesn't skate anywho, then he'd become some whacked out Stephen Hawking-esque version of his looped out self.

Business blows...  Enjoy skateboarding!

"The partnership kicked off earlier this year with a daily Skullcandy segment on the website called, "31 Days of Theotis," which featured Skullcandy team rider Theotis Beasley. Highlights of the partnership include:
*Skullcandy branding, banners and video pre-rolls throughout the The Berrics website.
*Skullcandy branding and product integration in original Berrics content
*A Skullcandy gaming zone located at The Berrics park for skateboarders and staff.
*A state-of-the-art Skullcandy recording studio located on-site at The Berrics park.
*Supreme Sound audio equipment for the new Berrics park and offices.
*Exclusive custom Skullcandy product for Berrics properties such as the Battle at the Berrics, etc.
*Custom Skullcandy product for The Berrics staff.
*Graphics for Skullcandy apparel, accessories, and headphones created by The Berrics design staff."

Its for when weezy comes by and gets all inspired and shits from rock to fakies on the 4 footer. He'll drop some stupid fly track about the money and bitches and swag and the berrics, and then berra will finagle his way into the chorus for a few bars singing about skateboarding wouldnt be anything without him and everyone will be like YEAH BOYYYEE!

but the beat wont be very good...

Anyone dumb enough to buy skullcandy should read this:

Generic earbuds with custom colorways and no quality from china. kinda like all skate decks

that Berra DVS part made me so sad. Skate More was the first video I watched, and I remember really digging his part.

I also liked how it looked like he filmed his entire part within a 2 block radius

fucking berra...
HAHAHAHA
that made me laugh as well, also: guess what, back then it looked like he filmed all his part within a two block radius, but now, for the last two years all he skated was one block indoor.

wait. why is that funny?

Who wears ugly headphones and why would they sponsor skaters? Skating with headphones is like taking a shit without closing the door, you just dont do it

a guy who owns a skatepark re does the team, and puts all of his friends on

Maybe it's just me but I get the feeling Berra pictures himself as some kind of next generation Steve Rocco.  He has this vibe of truly believing he's changing skateboard for the better, with a "love or hate me now, they'll thank me later" attitude.  It's a major bummer.  Dylan's summation of Berra in that Monster Children interview hit the nail on the head.

Elaborate, please.

A much easier to read version of the Monster Child interview with Dylan Rieder in which he talks about Todd Mulcahy kookin.

I might get some hate for this, but I kinda don't care.  This isn't my type of skating.  Skating is splitting up as it gets more popular.  This is right up there with P-Rod working with Mountain Dew and even Shaun White working with Target.  It sorta doesn't register with me.  It's kinda like I peek in and say, "Oh that's what you guys are doing over here, right on.  Have fun, I guess."  As long as there is dudes like Pontus Alv doing his "Goodbye Emerica" interview, Dylan Rieder basically saying, "Thanks sponsors, but I'm not gonna change the way I dress for a photo incentive" and teams like Magenta with Yoan Tallandier's videos and Roger with their fun, care-free skating, I don't really care.  It's two different creatures that are just related by blood.  It's like Mega Ramp skating.  It's really impressive, but that's not the video I'm gonna be hunting down at 2 am.  It's not my skating, I don't identify with it as easily.

But it's nothing to get that mad about.

I said the exact same thing when I read Karl's comment.  It's just funny because Berra has his head in the sand about who he is.
