Yesterday I was with my little brother and we grabbed food at the mall. I took a stroll into Zumiez with him and when I looked at their shoe wall I noticed that they had the Janoskis, and Kostons with the SB logos taken off of them.

no i think he is surprised that nike dropped the "sb" line which at one point nike was against selling them at mall shops trying to only sell em in "core" shops.. so now the nike sb's people used to go to smaller skate shops to buy the newest dunks can simply buy them from their local zumiez.

Yesterday while walking through the park I noticed that a dog was off its leash in a section of the park that specifically reserved for dogs with leashes. Offended, I began walking over to speak with the owner of the Blue Picardy Spaniel. Adding to my frustration, on way over to I spilt some of my ever-so delicious gingerbread latte all over my new Janoskis.

After speaking with the owner I noticed she was wearing a pair of Lululemon knock-off yoga pants - ones she must have bought from Wal-Mart or something... The bitch probably takes free yoga classes at the library...

I like going to the mall right before the Wetzel's Pretzels and Mrs. Field's close. You can ask for the food they didn't sell that day because the workers either have to take home the leftovers or throw them out. The workers are usually down to throw some food your way before they lock up and might even give you a frozen lemonade.

Sometimes a dude just wants to gander at the beef. And I feel like the dudes at the core delis always secretly despise me when I ask for honey mustard, like it's blasphemy to put it on corned beef.

At subway, I get to have it my way, and the girls at the counter are cute and friendly

There is/was a park about a 10 min skate from my house. The one featured in a oiam episode, under the manhattan bridge. LES park. Skating there was a health hazard, pretty much. If you cut or scrape yourself, it wouldn't heal for a month and had a really good chance of getting infected. Thats how dirty and grimey it really was. I said "was" because Nike is kicking down around $400,000 and working with a top urban planning/architecture firm to completely renovate and even expand this place. If I ever had a problem with Nike, i definitely don't now.

Steve Rodriguez applied for the grant from Nike and pretty much made this happen. Yes, I too think he had a very poor showing on oiam, but because of him there will be a brand new, $400,000 park a 10 minute skate from my apartment within the next 2 months. I checked out the plans on-line and it looks like it will also be lit/partially lit. Hell fucking yes.

I have no problem supporting Nike and 5-boro, in fact, quite the opposite.
