Back tails.� Knocked my teeth out sliding out of one back in the late 90s and have been scared of them ever since.

never been able to try one on a legit ledge

Actually, I should have specified, I never could either, I could only nollie into them because that was the only way to get my tail that high off the ground and precisely land on anything higher than a curb. �If I tried them on anything else I'd automatically go into some weird back smith/back lip fuck up. �Actually, back lips, tails and smiths were always fucked for me.

i have the same phobia, even back 50-50 scares the fuck out of me

One night I did a handful of switch 360 frontside flips, each one a little more aired out instead of powerslid as I did them. I can't even switch frontside flip now without powersliding 90 degrees of it.

way too many. I don't think I can do one ledge trick anymore, besides a slappy noseslide, haha.

My ledge game is so far in the past now, I'm slowly regaining my confidence though.

nollie flips/switch flips. when i land them they are either great or horrible. i stopped doing them during every skate session because they usually feel mob. i'd rather not do them then do them shitty.

Frontside boardslides on anything high. It's not that I can't do them anymore, but I've had so many instances where I stuck and then fell straight backwards that I've decided they're not fun enough to be worth the pain. Fuck that trick.

I used to have hard flips on lock, but I hated everything about the trick. Every little kid thinking it was the best thing in skateboarding. Constant slowmos and replays of it in videos. Every person that I hated loved doing them like it was a contest winning hammer. People constantly asking me, "Do a hard flip! Do a ghetto bird!". I had so much contempt for that trick that I resolved to never do it again. Now here I am 3 years later and I can't land a front shove flip to save my life. I know now that I was just being a little bitch and should have just kept doing them. I can still do them pretty good switch and nollie, though.

Every time I went out skating last week I tried to relearn half cab heel flips and nollie frontside heel flips. Shit is absolutely impossible for me. I spent the entirety of one day try to do half cab heels and landed one. My clothes were drenched in sweat from the effort I gave to land this trick that I learned in my first 8 months of skateboarding. I thought it would be rewarding to stick with it until I landed it, but it ended up just being depressing.

Hardflips. Learned them way back in the early 90's and didn't even know they were called hardflips. Inward heels and I was super good at Rick flips. Basically most tricks involving flipping a board takes me more tries then I want.

nollie/switch 360 flips annoy the hell out of me these days. i haven't landed either in just about a year whereas a few years ago i could do all four 360 flip tricks in a row. i don't skate as hard as i used to, which i know is my problem. i've been making the attempt to wake up and be out of the house by 8 a.m to make up for lost time. it's frustrating trying the same things over and over that you used to be able to do without any effort, but i'm pretty sure it was just as frustrating to learn everything in the first place, so i'm sticking with it. i'm seeing some stuff come back and continuously become easier and easier, so i can't say that it's all annoying. plus that feeling you get when you try and do something over and over and over until you ride away is the best feeling ever. it's going to be a good summer

Dont take your eyes off your back foot. Seems to work wonders
for both my backside flips & back 180.

nollie fs flips.   a few years ago i had to do one in a game of skate, landed it first time ever and then could do them really good out of no where for about a week.  i was just popping the fuck out of it and it was just there there to catch and keep cruising.   all my friends were like "holy shit what is this all about?"  a few days later... gone like a fart in the wind never to be seen again.  never landed one since.

the trick to back heels is that you have to flick the heelflip right below the lower front bolts. dont flick it like a normal heeflip

I don't even like the trick, but i kickflipped out of a frontside tailslide once to fakie. The question you ask immediately leads people into an answer in regard to technical skating though. There are many simpler tricks that I can't do on anything more challenging than a knee high ledge anymore, but used to test on bigger stuff.
