i saw some sale reynolds classics that will be in my near future.  they were black and grey.  pretty boring in a so sick kinda way.

Emerica stopped making crazy shoes because no shops would prebook them and they sure didn't move at store level for regular price.

I would also like to point out that "grown" men are a very small demographic in skateboarding and Emerica's image appeals to younger kids in the first place.

personally im not a fan of their shoes (first pair i ever had i broke my ankle after half an hour, i know its not the shoes fault but my brain cant help but make the connection) but i do rate them as a company and their team is fucking rad. Stay gold bitches

Emerica made some of the best shoes. The Reynolds, Ellingtion, MJ's, etc. I just bought the Hsu 2 lows. Love them and I don't mind the boring colors. I only buy black shoes anyways. The shoe designs they have been releasing have been shit, too many thin vulcs.

The last two pairs of Emerica's I had sucked dick. The sole detached from the shoe around the heel on both pairs, Reynold's and Herman's. This was back in like 08-09 probably. I havn't fuck with them since.

I don't think so. With all the "Chill" shoes they make (wino and stuff), it seems like their vulcs are serving them the best. Probably not skaters who buy them, but considering they have to compete with the likes of Vans, Adidas, and Nike, it makes sense they have to do that.

yea but they still need to cater to more types of skaters. compare it a car company only making 2-door vehicles without any trucks or SUV's. there are plenty of people who like the brand itself but arent buying the actual shoes just because they dont make any models that appeal to them & their style of skating.

man these were so sick. i had 2 pairs in that color, some black and purple ones and the sweetest color way was black/grey and green..i really wish i could skate them again.. ive seen em online in really big or small sizes.
