Of everything to bring up... why that?  And why is it so hard for the non-skate world to get skate related things right?

Are you that dense?

Because they don't spend countless hours engrossed/involved in the culture, learning the norms, expressions, mores, etc., of skateboarding?

Nah, they seemed to get all the culture, norms, expressions, and mores right... Mo never went through any concrete walls though.  Maybe that just sounded more interesting than "switch flipping a 10 stair so wicked, he made it explode."

If they want to be professional they should hire a skater and tell them what is cool and what is acceptable to write.

hahaha. On their search to find the quintessential skater to fulfill their needs, who says they'll get the right man for the job?

What if they hire Antwuan Dixon, J Cass, Lutzka? I dunno, man. I'd rather have that than...

"...huhhh??....fully flared...doo-doo-doo switch flip bullshit. eat that shrimp"

Its not that hard to find a skater with a degree through acquaintances. He doesnt have to be a pro. I have a friend with degree in philosophy who does this shit for a shitty magazine.

I for one, am outraged by this travesty.

How could they compose something so out of touch with our delicate skate sensitivities?

Our stunts aren't wicked. They are radical and bodacious.

I read it as "nailing wicked stumps" and pictured a porn where dudes are banging goth amputee chicks.

Wow.  Just wow.  Some Hollywood producers need to start lurking Slap.  This place is full of ideas that are pure content gold.
