All this talk is anyways pretty much just preferance . For each 10 guys talking shit about a brand , you have 10 guys saying how good it is . Pretty much like boards . Some say the board brand is crap and broke within the first 10 mins and another will say its the best board he ever rode
You're completely wrong. Ride STFs and you will never ride another wheel again. Powerslides all day , everyday and I've never flatspotted them.

a buddy of mine hooked me up with some jivaros a few years back, skate great, but still got flat spots. leaning more towards those stf's or those recycled satoris that were mentioned. do they make those recycled 101s in a 56?
as for oj's not flat spotting, they all flat spot, and when it happens, they're impossible to get out.

Well people say that about indy trucks too , ive had indys and I prefer thunders and ventures . Even if STFs are the best wheel in the skate business . Id still by momentum since I like the wheels , suporting McCrank and suporting a smaller company

I agree with that. Ideally everyone would use STF so we could support the team/riders we want but right now Bones is crushing the wheel/bushing market.

Autobahn, HiFi or Broadcast.
cool teams, and amazing urethane.
and Hifi wheels are guaranteed no flat spots
Where's a good spot to get HiFi wheels, i really want to try them but cant find them anywhere.

A thing that most young people doesnt know is that when you get a new set of wheels, roll on them for a week without any slides and they wont flatspot that easily.
Just a small tip from your coach.

I was dumb enough to buy two sets of cored wheels in my earlier days of skating. Within a few months the cores always separated from the outer wheel part rendering them worthless.
I've been riding plain white blanks from sports stores for years. They last forever and don't flatspot much, but they definitely have a cheap rubbery feel to them. Hopefully I'll be able to afford Bones next time around.

STF are great. I've had a set contract where the bearing sits though. So much so that the bearing outer race would spin inside the wheel. Not sure why they did this but it's happened to a few people I've spoken to. Apart from that, they rule.

I ride STF's in 50mm. I switch from Ventures to the hollow axle Koston Indy's, and I pop my bearing covers off, damn my board is too loud now with these trucks.

Ive seen this happen before only one time, and that was to my friend on a set of local shop wheels. Never seen a set of STFs do that before.
One problem I've had with STFs is that the bearings always pop out of their seats too easily. Everytime i would land a trick primo the bearing would pop out of their bearing seats and rub against the nut and cause friction until i had to pop em back in. This only ever happens to me when i have the STFs with the squared off edge shape though. Whenever i buy a set of with the rounded off edges I dont have this problem because the bearing seats are deeper in the wheel.
