Darkstar fully exemplifies why skateboarding is not a sport, as i'm sure a lot of people would love parts from these skaters (with some obvious exceptions), but it doesn't matter because darkstar's whole image, graphic design, editing, and general visual style is utterly terrible.

I'm excited, but I wish Momulu was still with them.

I hate trailers like this where you can clearly tell what tricks they we're doing and it doesn't tell you anything about the video itself.

This video is guaranteed to be a cookie-cutter , watch-it-once-and-forget-it , famous spot trick check list , gnarly and lifeless video.

I feel like certain companies , no matter what they do they'll never be anything more than a faceless entity that hires skaters to do stunts.

They gotta pretty solid team with some skaters I don't really care for and some I do. To be honest, I like slutzka's powerful style. He's one of the dudes that I think can look good in contests. That being said he's clearly a douchebag and has some of the worst sponsors out there, including a tequila one (would be cooler if it were rum, whiskey or gin imo).

dave, I'm by no means a "fan" of dyet. as a poster here said long ago, he's "the black jellybean of skateboading", which is true, and therefore makes me interested to see his part. and to his credit, he does some pretty insane stuff, like nollie frontside 270 heel lipslides and nollie big heel back lips on some pretty sizeable rails. he has an interesting bag of tricks and is an interesting character. J cass, doug b, and todd falcon also intrigue me in a similar fashion. plus i wanna see if that tyson kid will do that bs 540 on a legit gap or set of stairs not in the berrics.

Ok, watched again and this time with sound (usually won't watch clips with sound unless I know its a song/video in general I care about). Still psyched to see new lutzka footy, ryan decenzo will probably do some crazy ass shit (like fs flip el toro or some other cliche banger) with his mediocre style which i still enjoy, tyson bowerbank will be either the surprise hit of the year or the new trevor colden, and I don't hate on too many skaters but I forgot about manolo robles or whatever his name is. Super tech stuff in the most awkward style, I don't personally dig it. All the others I'm sure will have cool tricks that will wow me but for now I predict nothing too memorable.

I understand where your coming from, I myself am even intruiged by Todd Falcon, and a Lenny Rivas.
They are wild characters that probably belong behind bars and it's exciting to watch, minus the Neff clothing
and horrible dirtly sloth man style.
