Cheapshots are bearings.

ride whatever you've got now until you have saved up enough for some legit bones, they fucking last forever.

I'm backing this statement. I was always a spitfire dude back then, but STF's are the wheels to buy if you are looking for overall durability. I started skating a set of STF 53's eight months ago and I still have them now and they're only down to about 51's, and I pretty much skate everywhere, and the ground here is far from being the smoothest.
Don't get me wrong, spitfires are good wheels when it comes to the feel of the ride, but the og classic formula doesn't last for shit. They shrink down way too fast. Streetburners on the other hand are way better. They slide great and compared to the OG classic formula they are way more durable; still not as durable as STF's though.

I think i'm going to have to pick up a pair of bones after reading this thread...

I just got a pack of 54MM "Side Cut" Spitfires, but i'm not really liking them. They are about half the size of my old 54MM spitfires and turn a little better, but they slide out much easier. Anyone ever use these before - I'm kinda souring on them because I mostly ride parks.

i recommend the stfs over the 100s, i had the green 100s and you cant really powerslide with them but if you skate on some slightly rough ground you slide all over the place unintentionally

no. just no. i agree bones are really good wheels, never flatspot, and last for-fucking-ever. but spitfires are not shitty, at all. i prefer streetburners over stf's personally

No, I haven't ordered any clothes yet but I probably will pretty soon. The wheels are amazing though. They last a long time and at that price, more people should buy them.

Yeah you pretty much  nailed it with that one. My wheels always outlast my deck, but i never set up a new deck without new wheels, or vice versa.

I just switched my cheapshots (wheels), same wheel as the Fatheads. They did flatspot, but after reversing them the flatspot disappeared.

I ride STFs now, but I was riding the Bones 100s before I switched.

The 100s are just fine if you're on a budget. Actually, they're really darn good. You can't powerslide nearly as easily, but I liked that extra grip when I was carving and such.

Spitfire Cheapshots are good in a pinch. I like 'em, that's what I keep for spares 'just in case' but I've never broken a spitfire bearing. The Burners are great when you want to step up and spend closer to $20. I ride Swissfires and they're amazing, worth the $50 retail price.

In general, Spitfire make great wheels so in a way I expected their bearings to suck (like Indy bearings do) but after my first set of Burners I was sold and ride Spitfire bearings almost exclusively.

Don't listen to people who like Bones shit just because it's Bones and that's the trendy thing to like. I'm not saying they're bad, just that for $10 you're not likely to find a better bearing than Cheapshots.
