Exactly.  There are elements of truth with respect to his drug use, but the majority of what is proffered as fact is basically hearsay.  Imagine if someone whose antics we all love were castigated in such a way (Gall?).  Different people, different cultures, different goals, different everything.  No excuses for him, just a perspective.

Anyway, no debate on Slap how INSANELY good he is, so I will just leave this here.  Filmed in one afternoon, and I didn't even put in all the makes because it gets too repetitive.  If I recall he never missed the bigspin flip on the attempts where he made it that far. This was in 2003 btw:

In France I think Jart is doing well.
It is cheaper than any boards in a skate shop and the quality is ok for the price.
Lots of kids who start skatboarding are buying jart.
I bought a lot of them back in the days. (between 55 and 65 euros if i remember) I wasn't disappointed at all.
I don't know about other countries. ( I supposed they are doing fine in spain also not sure about germany by the way).
