So you don't like skateboarding photographs, and skateboard photographers who know how to correctly operate their equipment and take good pictures are artfags? What about filmers who are good at keeping a skater fully in the frame or editors who are skilled at cutting parts in time to the chosen music? Same shit.

Appleyard has totally milked it since he won SOTY, and has basically admitted as such, which really doesn't compare at all to six knee injuries.  Have you ever had one? They can make you crazy, especially if you aren't going to work or school every day to keep your mind off it.  I've been fortunate only to have severe sprains and strains that didn't require surgery, but the way my last serious one felt made me want to puke any time I thought about it every day for about a month after it happened. Going out and shooting the team's sessions would be some level of mental therapy for him while healing, and better him then some photographer trying to shoot skating.

If Flip or Gravis put out a video soon, Arto will have another part.  I don't know if he'll be checking off all the lip-slide variations on kinked rails again for this one, but it will be sick.
