Anybody know where I could find shoelaces that would be good for skating? I go through an insane amount of laces and usually the ones I find at pharmacies suck, plus I feel like a dick copping countless laces from shops/friends

not place to get them but a good idea to make them last longer, lace yuor shoes up normal then hold a lighter and but right wear it normally rips, don't burn it off but kindof let it melt, wait for it to harden, then put some crazy glue on it, i've never ripped laces ever since i started doing this

I usually just go to the local shop and ask them for some extra laces lying around. People buy new shoes and leave behind the extra laces that come with them all the time apparently, so those are always up for grabs.

Put a drop of super glue where you usually tear them, or use wire instead of laces.

yeah I've been using the shoe goo technique but they still rip eventually.  I don't know if I skate wrong or something but sometimes I'll break laces in one session
