i am surprised that kalis actually rides silver. most of the riders use other trucks (p-rod, nyjah, biebel)..i feel that most truck companies that aren't indy/venture/thunder team riders don't ride the trucks and just use indy/venture/thunders. i heard carroll is the only dude on royal who actually rides em.

ROYAL is actually a Gullwing truck. I rode some prototype ROYALS that were basically an INDY hanger(an exact composite to be specific) and are now the "New Royal High". I guess what I'm saying is that ROYAL is GULLWING generically manufacturing INDEPENDENT.

Do remember that Dyrdek has been a professional skateboarder for 21 years now so it shouldn't surprise you that he's more focused on his entrepreneurship in this stage of career, especially since he's making millions & doing things like buying out AWS. the reason he's off silver is because he makes too much money to be bothered by having to skate shitty trucks for a paycheck

Which is why I prefaced it with "some may say".  So if you are directing this directly at me, no, I don't need to be reminded.  I met him when he was 15, winning NSA contests when he was still on G&S.  I'm more than familiar with his career.  
No shit he's more focused on other things, we all saw his Mindfield part.  It wasn't worth the hype but at least he put one out.  
As for your claim to why he is off Silver, that sounds like pure speculation to me, though clearly he doesn't need that check. He owns Reflex now, they make trucks.  Maybe he is going to help push that along, maybe he isn't.

^^^I like how Wes said he split the hanger on his last pair of trucks, pretty much reinforcing the claim most people make that Royals suck.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure all the Theeve dudes ride Theeve; they all seem pretty stoked on the trucks.
