The problem with this contest is that all you have to do is be competent at editing and the part will turn out amazing no matter what due to the footage. The contest should be who could actually put all of those clips together and not make it amazing. It would take a much more talented editor.

Hello.  I've never entered a video edit contest before, but since I felt like shit all day yesterday I decided to do one up.  I saw someone comment about how it's hard to make a bad edit with such good footage, your right.  It seems to me like it comes down to the music and how well it flows with the skating.  You could also get creative with some other types of footage in there.  I like the black and white one with the heads exploding.  Anyway I made this one up first.  (I tried, but couldn't figure out how to get the video on here, so here's the link.)

Thought about doing this at first, then was over it, then changed my mind again and put this together tonight. I wanted to do a clean simple edit that was short and to the point, much like those new age web parts we see way too much of.....oh well.
