so, the other day I was skating with a friend and he had some Theeve Trucks in his skate, the Trucks seemed really good to me, I?m thinking purchasing ones for myself, but I want to hear Slap?s overall opinion on trucks and specialliy this Theeve Trucks if anyone had skated in them.

I know Slap loves Independent, but, are they really the best ones? why?

i have the TIH (the axeless titanium theeves) they skate sooo good! but i got ace trucks for my cruiser board, and they are very similar. much better than any thunders or indys (even tho both trucks are based off an old indy truck)

I did a now outdated review on the TiAx and found them to be pretty favorable, but that was back when the hangars looked more like Ace's. I did get a lot of reports and saw pics of a lot of fucked up and warped bottom bushings though... haven't seen any of the new ones lately so I figure they'd addressed the bushing issue. For the duration I skated them they turned, carved, and grinded whatever pretty solidly. I still prefer Thunder and Indy, but I couldn't find any real fault in them, more of a preference thing. At least for the ones I rode, I could see the appeal.

Only seen the TiH, they look fun but I don't like the design. Regardless of the alloy used, the way they hollowed it out just doesn't look that structurally sound... if they were any other alloy you'd snap the hangar in an hour. I'm sure they're strong, but they're too dependent on the alloy with the big dugouts. Still, wouldn't mind giving them a test drive.

Tried a pair of the TiAX, they weren't bad.

IMO there is no truck better than indys.

I ride theeve tiax and they're good.  No complaints.  Grind good.  Turn good.  Light.  What else do you want them to do?

I have the CSX 5.85, so far so good. They are light, grind great, turn almost identical to my old Thunders, which is great to me, and seem super strong.
