I agree with this. Any Pappalardo footage will be bittersweet, because we'll be happy just to see anything but will all be disappointed even though we expect it to be disappointing.

I feel the same way, although the occasional clip or photo of his that surfaces can sometimes be a bit lackluster, I still enjoy his skating. ? I am really looking forward to his Chocolate part, and judging ads and photos he's had there should be at least be a couple decent tricks in it.

I appreciate the type of skating he's been producing as I can relate to it more than say a ss bs ts on a big handrail; however, I prefer to watch the kind of skating he's been producing in the 'Post Your Footage' thread-along with all the rest of the clips from those of us who don't skate every day-rather than in my years-in-the-making full length videos of the crazy tricks my favorite pros have crushed themselves filming.  Mind being blown > Being able to relating to trying/making the tricks I'm watching.  Give his spot to someone who cares.

Pops and Wenning were a skating duet pushing each other to advance ledge skating and do nbd's down Love in a time of innocence which now exists only in our memories.  It was the peak of their skating, much the same way neither Paul Simon or Art Garfunkel were never able surpass, individually, the musical achievements they made together.
