so who is picking this top 10? i watched a couple random edits on youtube when this first started and they were all better than these over-edited turds. the first one is the only one i could take somewhat seriously thus far.

In an editing contest, you have to get weird. Straightforward edits are fine but they don't stand out well among 200+ entries.

I dont think it matters how long something takes to make if it looks good. Over editing just takes away from the skating, if someones a really good skateboarder, which Mark is, then his skating should be the focus, not all the fuckin ramped slow mo and special effects.

If you're going for weird LickCakes wins hands down.

I gotta say the VHS effects are getting tired especially since it looks like a lot of people are using the same program to edit.

Then again it would be sick to see what Lev Tanju could come up with.

Not trying to be a dick but that wasn't much of an edit aside from the intro/outro (which were pretty rad).  But I didn't really think the footy was organized that well and there weren't really any transitions to speak of.  And the Caribou song was used in a Globe United By Fate episode several years back...  And I don't think I'm alone in saying that there is no reason to re-use songs when there is so much music out there.   I'll probably get  a dumb-ass "U MAD!" gif or something in response to this, but that's just my honest critique.  Out of the ones I saw, I probably would've given it to pyrexvision.
