What companies make a pair of chinos, or something similar, that AREN'T slim fit? I am not lookin for some baggy ass pants either. I just want normal fitting pants for a man. Not some little boy shit.

Thanks for the ideas, fellas. The Voclom Frickin Chinos weren't comfortable to me. Tried on a few pairs in different size and they just didn't click.

I am aware of the dickies and dockers. Luckily my girl works at Levis, so I get the hook up on Dockers.

I was thinking something from Nike might work. I'd heard good things about the P-Rod chinos.

You could just go to kohls or walmart and pick up some flat front dress pants. Depending on the brand, they usually arent too baggy.

Have you ever owned a pair? They're not slim at all, especially compared to today's standards.

No, I auto ignore anything with Slim in the title. As you could imagine, it leads me to think they are slim fitting.

^^ Don't be silly, bro. There is no universal standard when it comes to "slim" fit pants.

This is why I can't buy pants online. Levis 514 slim straight fit perfect for me - I don't like nut-huggers. However, it seems to me a lot of skate brands' slim fit ARE nut-huggers, and it makes me scared that people actually buy their slimmer pants.

Hell, the Altamont Wilshire fit, which is supposed to be a standard fit and is their second most relaxed fit, fits tighter than my Levis.

I'm sure there are caveats. But, as a rule, I avoid things that say slim. Seems like a safe bet. If and when I come across a pair of slim fit dickies or anything that says slim but looks like it would fit, I'd try em.

Go to walmart and buy a pair of Dickies. Problem solved.

Or go to a J. Crew outlet and buy a pair of the Classic Fit chinos.

No, he's right.  They're not slim fitting.  They're perfect.  They don't ride high wasted like the 874 classic, they sit low.  Trust me, I'm a fat bastard (215), and I own 4 different pairs.  They're not tight in the crotch either, so you can move your legs around.  I think what you want to do is stay away from "skinny" in the pant description.

Hmm, I never would have guessed it. Do they carry the slim straights at walmart? Because at $30, the price looks right.

Been rocking DC relaxed pants. Get a size up, had a 32 which felt slim for a "relaxed fit" but a 34 did the trick.

Did the same for the Plan B sheckler chinos as well.

Go to an outlet mall and buy pants from the "nice" stores and get regular fit or classic fit from like a j crew or even a banana republic because you'll get them for under $30

Go to Walmart and buy the George chinos, pretty baggy compared to others. Or any chinos that say "relaxed" or "loose".

These are personally my favorite chinos, J. Crew Bedford fit. Not too tight and not too loose. Dick and balls can breath and you can perform without limitation.

Or for a regular fit I'll wear the J.Crew Classic Fit
