Weird, those are the exact same bands I would go there to see as well.

I've seen Dinosaur Jr twice, once was amazing and the second time they jam banded out for 30 min after each song. There were people spinning hippie circles in the crowd. I left after an hour and a half, and only hearing 4 or 5 songs.

I've also seen King Kahn and the BBQ show, and they are one of my favorite bands, and it was the best show I've ever been too.

Edit: made me think back on the show so I youtubed some live stuff. This wasn't the show I was at, but... incredible.

I saw King Khan and the Shrines in Denver and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to.  I won't even try and describe it, but if anyone gets the chance, go see them.

I struck out with the Vivian Girls, maybe Warpaint will let me disrobe them.  Perhaps it will take more than drunkenly yelling at them from the side of the stage between songs though.

Seeing as I liked King Khan and Dinosaur Jr...which Fucked Up and Hot Snakes songs should I check out?

Start with the most well known stuff as an easy appetizer.

Hot Snakes - LAX Small | Large

Fucked Up - Son the Father Small | Large

Also, yelling drunkenly has always worked pretty well for me. Maybe you should wear some flair, like a brightly colored hat. Or, literal tail feathers.
