^^^ pretty much what he said about jessup, i had a few boards with jessup on it starting out and i got sick of that shit happening.  plus i feel like mob is grittier than jessup, though black magic was good too with the couple boards i used it on.

Grip is grip, but anything that says Shake Junt or any of their dumb catchphrases is fucking stupid

I don't give a fuck what griptape I'm riding, just as long as it's all black (no cut outs or anything painted on it, has to be all black. I can't stand looking down at my board and seeing something too distracting, has to be all black with nothing on it and no lines), and it's not jessup. After I had three of four sheets of jessup do this to me over a year and half's time, I vowed to never skate that griptape again. Their varying quality is too sketchy for me to continue to support:

But, other than griptapes that fall into those two categories, I will skate pretty much anything. It's just about all the same. Hell, right now I'm skating a sheet of mini-logo griptape I got from the shop for super cheap and it's doing just fine.

haha yeah that shit sucked but its back to normal now. they just had a bad batch of grip and all the shops were stuck with it and sold it to innocent little kids like assholes. but yeah my friend was gripping his board, started on one end was pushing it down until halfway through it just ripped in half.

Most shops only carry one kind of grip, I really liked Black Magic but can't find it anywhere. I also like color grip, mix it up with black. I remember skating one time with a friend he was riding jessup and the whole sheet of grip tape peeled off his board, the glue stayed on the board.

The worst thing about jessup (other than their grip) is their inability to back their product up.
I've had defective products from DLX, talked to them through email about it and they were real courteous about it, they apologized and offered a replacement for the defective product right away.
Same with Skateone and Indy(NHS), they've all been able to back their defective products up for me.
As for Jessup, I emailed them about it, only to get a response two weeks later. They offered to send me a box of replacement grip and asked for my address. I sent them my address and said thank you, but never did receive my grip, and haven't heard back from them since. I emailed them again asking nicely if they shipped out the replacement sheets yet, but they never replied. This was about a year and a half ago. The funny thing is, not long after that happened, I decided to give them one more chance anyways and bought a sheet for a new deck. Guess what happened? Another defective sheet!
Seriously. fuck Jessup. It'll probably be a long while before I start to support them again. If the shop I'm at gives me free grip with a board but all they have is jessup, id rather just go to the next shop over and pay for a sheet of Mob or Black Magic.

might try this out if its actually good grip without the problems of the main grip
jessup- peels off, grip wears down
mob- eats up shoes but what ive bean doing lately is after griping taking the exess grip and rubing it the deck down so its not so gritty
black magic- never seen it anywere but one shop i've been to (from what i recall)

technically you could say shakejunt is a grip brand and theyve made full videos

on the brostyle front, unless theyre doing something different with their grip (which really isnt needed) i dont see the point

damm, i almost forgot about shakejunt ... maybe because there is a indestructible connection between shakejunt and shane shane heyl in my head.

well, the lineup says, that heath is on the team and aslong as he only ollies up a sidewalk ... i am backing it.
